Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted March 15, 2005 The baseball season approches and this will be my first season capping it. Stan James have recently released their total wins bets for the forthcoming season. Stan James Then click on baseball Then click on the drop-down menu and select '2005 MLB Season Wins' I think the Cubs are over-rated at 88 wins, especially given their pitching injuries I also think the Mets are over-rated at 87.5 wins What does everybody else think? CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2005 I agree, you should be all over Cubs under 88.5. Other interesting ones: Yankees under 102.5 (everything would have to break perfectly for them to hit 103) Astros over 82.5 (could benefit from Cubs' injuries, and still a decent team) A's over 76.5 (they should be .500 in that division - the Angels are overrated, and the other two clubs are hit and miss) Diamondbacks under 75.5 (they should get to 90 losses quite easily) Blue Jays over 69.5 (jump all over this one, too - this team is sadly underrated, nowhere near a 95-loss team)
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted March 15, 2005 when I saw the Braves and Giants I shit a brick, so I suggest you take the under.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2005 Also, if you're going to get on the Cubs, get on them NOW, as a couple of books I've visited have taken them off the board.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted March 15, 2005 Thanks for the advice - gone under on Cubs, Giants, Diamondbacks, and Braves. Gone over on Blue Jays.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Thought it would be fun to bump this thread and see what a coward I am for not betting myself. Four of my lines were locks or close to it, and the other two would be easily winnable.
