Anya 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 When the lineup is good, like PS and PS2, it's worth it...even know it'll die after a while.
Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 Yea..so, wait (about one week at that) for the system to come out and buy that, only to find out the game is sold out. And here you are sitting there with a PSP, and nothing to do with it, because you have no games for it. That's smart. I've HIGHLY doubt most people buy the game before the system. I am pretty sure there will be a game somewhere for them to buy. Well...I'll just point out, (from another board I go to) Today I picked up Wipeout Pure for PSP using the trade in 3 xbox/ps2/gc deal. Lucky I did because they only had 4 copies left. I was going to get Ridge Racer but since it's delayed of course I couldn't. Wipeout Pure also got some great reviews, even better than RR did. I really cannot wait for my PSP. I have been putting a little money on it every week and I traded in my DS to put money on it. I am also trading in my Gamecube (which I never play) and some other games. Oh, and from the same person, if there is anyone here who is planning on getting a PSP at launch/around launch, his way on how to get the games cheap. EB has their 'Trade in 3 (ps2, xbox, and GC that are NOT excluded) for 1 PSP game (989 sports games, Wipeout Pure, Twisted Metal, Ape Escape, and I forget the other ones in the offer). Well I looked at the excluded list and it had shown some of the Xbox Exhibition Demo disks and the PS2 Jam Pack demo disks are excluded. Now that is SOME of those demo disks, not all, so I figured that the ones not on the list would work. Well I had two of them so I brought them in. I asked the guy to scan them to see if they would indeed work with the 3 for 1 deal. He said "I can tell you right now they won't work" so I said to "Just scan them and see" and he did and could not believe they went through. Well I still needed one more so I asked where they have them for sale and they were in the 'cheap' bin. They had one for $4.99. So I bought that and traded it right in with my other two. So I got Twisted Metal for $5.00. So for anyone wanted a almost free PSP game, take a look to see that those Demo disks are not on the exclusion list which is here on this link: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/ads/shops/insto.../exclusions.asp Also you can go to Gamestop and buy 2 cheap used games (maybe those demos) and get 1 free. Then take those 3 and go to EB to trade them in for the PSP game!
