With Marty Jannetty's return to action last week, I've gotten a lot of questions about how good the Rockers were in their prime. Well here you go. 2 comps of one of wrestlings best tag teams ever.

BEST OF THE ROCKERS "FROM AWA TO HBK" (VG) 6HRS

Although he's not known now as a tag team wrestler, Shawn Michaels was one half of a very successful tag

team with his partner Marty Jannetty. Early in their career, they wrestled in the AWA as the Midnight

Rockers. During this time, they won the AWA Tag Team title on several occasions. The Rockers were best

known, however, for their several year stint with the WWF. They debuted during a time when the WWF had

one of the best tag team rosters in its history. Even so, Michaels & Jannetty still managed to stand out from

the pack with their speed, technical ability, their overall exciting and fast paced aerial style, and some of the

absolute BEST tag team chemistry of any tag team in history. Their matches with the Rougeau Brothers, the

Hart Foundation, and ESPECIALLY Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson were some of the best tag team

matches ever seen at the time (or since) in the WWF. This tape covers the history of the Rockers from their

AWA days, through their time with the WWF up to AND INCLUDING their breakup and several matches

from their subsequent feud. (Matches 1-6 are from the AWA, and contain several Tag title changes)

mixed signals between them and nearly COME TO BLOWS!)

27. INTERVIEW - Brutus Beefcake's Barbershop segment. Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty address the

problems that they've been having of late. They appear to come to terms and make up. The Rockers hug

each other, and just when you think everything's back to normal, Shawn Michaels SUPERKICKS

JANNETTY! He then puts his partner through a PLATE GLASS WINDOW! Michaels begins his heel

turn with a vengance, and THE HEARTBREAK KID IS BORN!
