Guest JMA Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Recently I downloaded a video file but when I played it the audio and video were out on sync (basically the audio played too early). Does anyone know what's causing this problem and how I can fix it?

It kinda depends. I'd say that it was just a few seconds out of synch. If I had to estimate, I'd say about five seconds. Is there any way to fix it?

If it's a problem with the video file itself you can fix it with Avi-Mux** if it's an avi. Guest JMA Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 I've recently had trouble with another AVI that is out of sync. Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I'd just post my problem in this one. Anyway, the file is an AVI, and ffdshow doesn't solve my problem (which it usually does). It also doesn't seem to work with Avi-Mux. Does anyone know of anything I could do or any programs I could download to solve this problem?
