Guest Posted May 14, 2002 Report Posted May 14, 2002 Just wondering if anyone knows if any of these series' will be put on DVD anytime soon? Mission Hill hasn't put out new episodes since 1999 to my knowledge, so I'd like to get the whole series on on disc if possible.

I'm not even sure that any of these shows produced further than their 12 or 13 first episodes. It would be pretty sweet but none of those shows have created a big enough following to even get a second season, so I doubt a DVD will be in the works

Guest Karnage Posted May 15, 2002 Report Posted May 15, 2002 Teletoon should show something else in their adult line up like X-Men or something and reduce all those shows to once or twice a week. They can easily show the whole season of each cartoon in 3 weeks with that type of schedule.

On the other hand, TeleToon Retro really annoys the hell out of me. I like the Spider-Man show (purely for nostalgia) but the Hulk is horrible! What's with that theme song?! And why do they have to play it before/after EVERY commercial?! I laughed my ass the first time I saw the intro, though. Hulk steps on a TANK and the "sound effect" that they write in says "SKROONK!" Finally, after years of searching I now know what it sounds like when you step on a TANK! SKROONK!!

Better that Hulk theme than the uber-gay FF theme (90's version). And the more I think about it, the more I realize that the 60's Spidey was pretty good in terms of artwork. The animation was poor, yes, but the people were drawn pretty damn well.
