Why not? This was easily one of the worst "FILMS" but it's a good stoned watched movie.

Dude, you really need a KB with a spacebar. Seriously, use dashes or underscores or something. ;p

Although on the whole Dude, Where's My Car? was a bit of a let-down, there were parts of it that were really funny, and I liked how all the SWERVES~! fit together at the end without leaving any gaping plot holes.

But does it really need a sequel? Then again... name one film that does need a sequel.  Can't do it, can you?! It should be a direct to video sequel, like Cruel Intentions 2 (yes Virginia, there IS a sequel to Cruel Intentions ???)

I never saw it and I'm not sure if it's worth the $1.99 it costs to rent it.  ;)

the first one was seriously one of the dumbest movies ever m,ade and its just more of a reason not to smoke weed, because then you make shit like that movie.  BTW all you potheads are losers, and I just wanted to point that out to you.

Worst...movie....ever.

I would go see

Dude Wheres My Car? 2. It could be funny. But it would be interesting to see how they could follow that up.

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings needs a sequel. Of course that's cheating by naming that one but oh well. :o)

Actually, I think Cruel Intentions 2 is actually a prequel instead of a sequel.

Star Wars needed a sequel too, for the record.  ;)

The fact that "Dude Where's My Car" even got made in the first place boggles my mind. It started out as an idea and it had to get OKed. Then a script and through all the various revisions it still had to get OKed. On and on I could go, but basically somehow a studio was dumb enough to make this abortion of a movie and think it was a good idea. I feel robbed to this day of the hour and a half I spent watching that movie. Mr. Nanny was better. If they make a sequel well that just proves all that is wrong with American Cinema.

Okay I say something about this guy's spacebar problem and he gets ALLLLLLL pissy on me, but does he with anyone else?  NOOOOOOOOOO...

Cruel Intentions 2 when viewed in context with Cruel Intentions(very underated movie if you ask me) gives the character more dept and backstory(although it does cause a few plot holes).  It was a horrible movie, but I like backstory.

BTW, the naked french kissing twins in the shower...am I the only one that is disturbed by incest because that was more disturbing than a turn on( I mean the girls are twin sisters in real life...how do you take on a part like THAT!!)

I haven't seen the film myself but i'm agreed about the awfulness of DTV sequels. 'From Dusk Til Dawn' and 'Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer' have such 'unofficial' type sequels which among the worst films i've seen in recent memory. The good name of Disney has been further tarnished over the years by the same trend.

And you OKed allowing yourself to watch it. Don't try giving some lame "i didn't know what kind of movie it was going be" excuse. It was fairly obvious as to the type of movie it was from all the previews and promotional work.

By the way. Eventhough it was a rather retarded movie i actually did enjoy it. I mean come on that movie was too fucking bizarre to actually hate it. It was better then that highly overrated American Pie movie.

I'll watch anything once before I'll pass judgement on it. I wasn't to excited to watch it, was at a friends house and they put it in. If I was renting it wouldn't have been what I would've picked, but I wasn't there. I watched it, so I can pass judgement on it. It sucked, and was one of the worst movies ever.

I like to file Dude, Where's my Car, under guilty pleasures.  I mean it is a stupid movie, but it did make me laugh, and the movie doesn't take itself serious at all.  It's a movie to watch when you feel like being a little dumb.

And for the record, I thought Cruel Intentions sucked balls.  Very unbelievable.  The kids act like they have the maturity levels of forty year olds.  The guy(Ryan Phillipe) uses dialogue that is way too advanced for a 17 years old.  Yeah, the lesbo kissing scene was cool, but not enough to warrant me liking a film.  And the fact that they made a second one, is just unacceptable.  Basically Cruel Intentions was a movie that Howard Stern found embarrising to watch, and we all know what Howard Stern deals with on a daily basis.

Cruel Intentions 2 was horrible.  It was one of those movies that you know is there when you walk into a video store and you know that the girl you are with is going right for it.  Dude Where's My Car is so much better than CI2.  At least we get to see a dog taking a fat toke off of a pipe, and people that act a little more like I do than the cast of CI2.

I knew there was a Cruel Intentions 2, but i have yet to see it...are the characters the same?  i mean didn't Ryan Phillipe's character die at the end of the first one?  what is the premise behind this one?

Seeing as how it's a DTV sequel, none of the original cast is in it, and I believe it's a prequel, as someone mentioned earlier.  I wouldn't know, I didn't like Cruel Intentions all that much so I haven't seen it.

And as for asking which movies "need" sequels, playing the LOTR and Star Wars cards is sorta cheating because LOTR is based on a book trilogy, and Star Wars has already been established in pop culture as a trilogy.  Actually, if anyone here is old enough to have seen them when they originally came out in the theatres, not knowing that it was a trilogy (err... sextilogy? There's 6 episodes...), do you remember coming out of the original Star Wars thinking "Dude, they SO gotta make a sequel to that!" (ummm... although I guess you wouldn't think it in those terms)?

Anyway, I'd probably see Dude, Where's My Car? 2 just because I'd have nothing better to do...

Name one movie that needed a sequil?

No movie really NEEDS a sequil (Although I suppose LOTR is the sole exception) But I suppose you could say some comic book movies (Superman Spiderman Batman etc) need/ed sequils to get more of the villains in that were/are popular.

But some movies were popular at one time, have no name value at all today whatsoever, and they make SEQUILS TO THEM! I saw a DVD of SLAP SHOT 2!!! To make matters worse, a Baldwin is in it. If a movie tells a story from beggining to end, LEAVE IT THE F*** ALONE!!!

The worst thing about Cruel Intentions 2 (since this topic has morphed into that)...is that they didn't know if they wanted to make a remake or a sequal.

And the guy who starred in it is the worst actor since Jeremy London
