Damaramu 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 The Clippers ending with a better record than the Lakers would be the most embrassing moment in Laker history. I find it hilarious how everything with you has to be direct competition with the Lakers when the Lakers couldn't really give less of a shit about the Clippers.. or really any other team the way they've played since Rudy T. resigned, come to think of it.. At least we still have those 12 World Championships... *points at Bostons 16* The comfort they give you wears off after a while.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted April 10, 2005 Calm down, guy. I know you reign supreme and you're nototrious like a jely bean. I was only referring to certain teams having all the talk concentrated on them for a while. The flavors of the month. Nothing to get mad about. I just want to know what you expect people to do. Just talk about one team all season and ignore the teams that come up and catch fire? You probably just took what I said a little too seriously or something. I was only referring to teams that seem to just catch fire one month and they're the new "flavor of the month", then everyone just kind of forgets about them and there's another new "flavor of the month" the following one. I find it hilarious how angry you're getting over a silly little misinterpretation. Oh well.

Yeah, that's the thing that kind of sucks being a Celts fan compared to a Lakers fan, is how long they've kind of been out of it. Being a Lakers fan, you're usually accustomed to success, which is why this season has been so particularly frustrating. I knew this year things wouldn't be as easy with Shaq getting traded along with like half the team (but still re-signing Slava Medvedenko!), but things really hit the shitter as soon as Kobe got injured and Rudy T. quit. Great idea on my part not to order the NBA League Pass thing during the All-Star game, though.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 Why did they hire Rudy T in the first place? I mean didn't they know the guy had problems with alcohol, back pain and fatigue issues?
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 I've just got one question. How the fuck did the Timberwolves fall so far? Last year, they were a one seed, and then last night with an outside shot to make the playoffs, they break Atlanta's 14-game losing streak. I swear to god, they must be trying to lose or something. I'm not angry and I find it hilarious that you never said what you want people to do instead of talking about "flavor-of-the-month" teams. You act like people talking about hot teams is a bad thing. It seems like the prevalent attitude around here is to dislike things that become popular or talked about. I don't understand it.
