Guest Report post Posted May 15, 2002 After reading so many people fantasy bookings for the WWF Pay Per Views and Cards, I figured I’d throw my ideas in here too and see what I can come up with. But the way, I’m going to do it is a little bit different. I’m going to book my fantasy cards and shows through my N64 WWF No Mercy game. I love the game and still can’t put it down. I have a few others, including the SmackDown! series for Playstation, but I have to say my favorite game is definitely No Mercy. Anyways, I have all the regular characters on it, obviously, some with costume changes and other character alterations. I also have some custom characters made too. The matches I will actually wrestle and play out, but the segments and interviews we’ll just have to imagine. So here’s the list of wrestlers involved in MY World Wrestling Federation. Guest Report post Posted May 15, 2002 WWF BACKLASH Live From Miami, FL Parental Advisory symbol Video package of all the events leading up to Backlash WWF Logo Thunderous pyro and flashing lights open up the show as the camera pans the sold out crowd in Florida. Good Ol’ JR and the King welcome us to Backlash. JR promises that this tonight will be a night that will go down in the history of the WWF. Tajiri’s music hits and our first match is about to get underway. Flashbacks are shown of the recent feud between Tajiri and current Cruiserweight Champion, Hakushi including their match from SmackDown! a couple of weeks ago, when Hakushi defeated Tajiri after attacking Torrie Wilson, who was at ringside. Back to the live event, Hakushi comes down the aisle, decked out in a white robe and has the Cruiserweight Title draped over his shoulder. Tajiri defeats Hakushi with the Diamond Dust at 10:42 to win the Cruiserweight Title Jeff Hardy is shown in the back getting ready for his European Title match against Test tonight. His brother Matt comes in and says he knows Jeff is the newest member of the ReVolution, and tells him to just admit it. Jeff says, “What do I have to do to make everyone believe me!” Matt shakes his head and walks off. A video package is shown of the match between the Hurricane and X-Pac from RAW last week, and the challenge made by X-Pac to have a match at Backlash. The Hurricane pins X-Pac at 6:17 after Tori turned against X-Pac and hit him with a chair Shane Douglas is shown in the locker room talking over his strategy with fellows ReVolution members, Dean Malenko and Christian. He says the new member will finally be revealed here tonight at Backlash, and there’s NOTHING anyone is gonna do about it. Christian and Malenko chuckle. Douglas says that the newest member is an odd ball, a unique soul, and is perfect for the ReVolution. Christian adds, ‘That guy leaped off the top of a steel cage one time! Bang!’ All 3 nod their heads in amazement. A video package is shown of the on going feud between the Flock and the ReVolution. Lance Storm beat Spike Dudley at 4:58 after a SuperKick. Saturn is getting interviewed in the back, before his match by Michael Cole. Saturn delivers an obscure promo saying, “I’m the best thing to happen to Hardcore wrestling since diapers on monkeys”. The whole time Terri stood in front of him, stroking a keno stick as Michael Cole stared in quiet awe. Saturn retained the Hardcore Title against Stevie Richards at 3:25 with a trash can lid. One of Richards henchmen then came out to make the late save, Bull defeated Saturn at :27 to win the Hardcore Title. Raven then came out with a baseball bat and nailed Bull with it to become Hardcore Champion at :18. Stevie Richards then got back up and sprayed Raven with a fire extinguisher, almost blinding him. Saturn tried to take the extinguisher away from Richards but sprayed himself and Richards in the process. All 4 men were layed out in the ring with carnage surrounding them. Ring Announcer Howard Finkel then got in the ring and covered Raven for the 1,2,3 and announced himself the new Hardcore Champion at :12! A video package is shown illustrating the ReVolution stating they will have a new member join at at Backlash. Weeks leading up to the event, Matt Hardy and Test believe it is Jeff turning his back on them and joining Douglas and company. Jeff continues to deny the allegations week after week. Finally, last week on RAW Jeff said he had enough of it, and challenged Test to a European Title match to prove he isn’t joining the ReVolution. Test agrees and Matt says he’ll be the guest referee. All 3 men agree and Jeff says, “We’ll see who’s telling the truth this Sunday.” Shane Douglas comes out for the next match. Douglas gets in the ring and cuts a promo about why he came back to the WWF. He said he came to clean up the wrestling world. He added that he is sick and tired of seeing the same crap on the TV week after week, and it’s time to “start a ReVolution”. He explained how Dean supported him in WCW and he knew Lance from ECW, and how he came to the WWF, he saw potential in Christian. But now he sees another star he wants to take in and help with the ReVolution. Just as he is about to say who it will be, Chris Beniot interrupts him and challenges Shane to a match…NOW! Douglas agrees and they have a rematch from the last Pay Per View. Shane Douglas defeats Chris Beniot at 8:47 after Rikishi interfered and hit the Rikishi Driver on Beniot to reveal he is the new member of the ReVolution. After the match, the entire ReVolution celebrate and lay a beat down on Beniot before officals break it up. In the back, Matt Hardy is trying to apologize to Jeff for jumping to conclusions. Jeff doesn’t accept, he just walks away and says “see ya out there”. Jeff Hardy pinned Test at 7:40 to become the new European Champion. After the match, Matt raises his brother’s hand but Jeff shrugs it off and walks to the back alone. Triple H is shown in the parking garage arriving late. He appears to be very upset. Steve Austin defeated The Big Show in a First Blood Match at 12:51 JR and the King talk about the unstoppable force of one Brock Lesnar. A video package is shown of the impressive winning streak of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar’s opponents include, Val Venis, Edge, Raven, and former Intercontinental Champion, Eddy Guerrero. Highlights from RAW are shown as well, where the Undertaker makes the challenge to Brock and invites him into “his yard”. Brock Lesnar retains the Intercontinental Title against the Undertaker at 8:25 with help from Shane McMahon. The WWF History video is shown accompanied by Kid Rock's "Lonely Road of Faith" Triple H is shown in the locker room frantically getting ready as Stephanie walks in. “Why didn’t you call me” says Triple H. “I fell asleep and the alarm didn’t go off, the clock was unplugged!” Stephanie looks confused. ‘I can’t believe this, I have a Title match tonight!” Stephanie consoles him and walks away smirking… A Recap of the Hollywood Hogan/Jericho feud is shown. Jericho vows to rid the world of Hulkamania once and for all. Hogan puts his career on the line, he will retire if he can not defeat Chris Jericho. Lillian Garcia is interviewing Hogan in the back. Hogan says he isn’t taking Jericho lightly, but he has been down longer roads before. Andre, King Kong Bundy, Vader and Ric Flair come to mind. Hollywood ends by saying he is in for one tough night, and he is gonna need the Hulkamaniacs more than ever. 3…..2….1….Boom! Jericho comes down the aisle, wearing an old Hulk Rules T-Shirt. He gets in the ring and mocks Hogan by doing all of his signature poses. Jimi Hendrix hits and out comes an emotional looking Hulk Hogan. The two stare down and the match begins.. Chris Jericho defeats Hulk Hogan via the Walls of Jericho at 15:43 After the match, Jericho celebrates his win, but this time he doesn’t mocks Hogan. In an unlikely gesture from Jericho, he shakes Hogan’s hand and gives him a hug and raises Hogan’s hand. Hogan goes to get out of the ring but Jericho stops him and points to the middle of the ring and leaves himself. Hogan does the old fashioned pose for a few minutes and thanks the Hulkamaniacs for the last time. A teary eyed Hogan walks to the back, but not before turning around and biting his lip, then goes through the curtain. A Judgment Day promo is shown for the next Pay Per View.. JR and the King build up the Undisputed Title match as they introduce a video package to set it up. A package of the HHH/Kurt Angle feud is shown. Very similar to the summer 2000 feud, but without the blatant Kurt/Steph teases, although there are some. Kurt Angle comes out and cuts an anti-Florida promo, but gets interrupted by HHH’s music as an unprepared Triple H comes down the aisle. No stop and pose at the entrance, no water bottle. Stephanie is carrying his Undisputed Title for him as he puts on his left elbow pad. He gets in the ring and glares at Kurt and goes to the corner to pose for the crowd…. The match ends as Stephanie gets in the ring to distract the referee, but gets hit by Triple H as he lunges for Angle. He turns around to see if she is alright, Kurt takes advantage of the opportunity and nails the Olympic Slam and pins HHH to win the Undisputed Title. Kurt Angle pins Triple H at 17:19 to win the Undisputed Title. Angle is shown celebrating in the ring as the show fades to black…… WWF Logo Any feedback will be appreciated.
