Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted May 19, 2002 As long as the Owners make money off this system, they wont change to a different system. When the Owners get horribly in debt, they'll try a salary cap. As long as the Players always win out in the labor disputes, they wont hesitate to strike. As soon as they give in once, the Owners will get the upper hand, and the players wont want that. Nobody wants to budge, but they're all making lots of money, and will keep making more money, and the fans will keep getting pissed on. It wont work out for the fans until the owners need them to break even, instead of to make more. Right now the owners money pours in. When their profits dry up, then they'll start listening to the real fans. Look at the WWE. The shows are complete shit right now, and none of us like it. But until they stop making money off the average shmuck fan, and NEED us... we wont get anything we hope for (wrestling). Everythings the same in this world.... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Ahh, this is why my sig is so beautiful
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted May 19, 2002 i would actually suggest contraction... take out any team thwat averages less then 10,000 people a game, because thats just losing money only teams that make money would be around, and the league would be more concentrated with competitive players
