TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 TNA's Jeremy Borash is in California filming footage of Tito Ortiz to insert into the next two weeks of Impact!, building to his special referee appearance at the Hard Justice PPV on 5/15. The word going around this week was that Sean Waltman was venting about not being booked at Impact! and claimed to have been owed money by the company. One source claimed Waltman actually gave his notice, but PWInsider.com hasn't confirmed that to be the case. Another source believed it to just be a case of Waltman venting, which he is known to do, and it was smoothed over. I've gotten a lot of questions about Monty Brown's status with the company. He does have a contract that is coming up for renewal and they have had some discussions about a new deal, although I don't know how advanced they are. TNA did announce on commentary during the Impact! taping that Brown will team with The Outlaw vs. Diamond Dallas Page & BG Jammes at the next PPV. The TNA website ran a story putting over Chris Candido still coming to work at the Impact! taping just two days after his bad injury at the Lockdown PPV and one day after his surgery. Credit: PWInsider.com It's good that they are going to have Ortiz appear on Impact. I still think they should go the press conference route, with Jarrett interrupting and maybe even smashing a guitar over his head with Styles saving if Ortiz would allow it. That way they'd have footage they could use later, a la Hogan. I would have thought it was too late for footage to be inserted into Impact since you would imagine that they have sent the tape over already, so maybe this is for the next 2 weeks' shows to follow up the announcement on this week's edition.
