TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Tito Ortiz will be appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show tonight to promote the 5/15 Hard Justice PPV. TNA has updated their advertising for the event to promote his appearance in the main event, working as a special referee for the Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles NWA championship match. TNA's Dave Sahadi is putting together what is described to me as an "amazing and moving" video package on AJ Styles training for the NWA championship bout at Hard Justice with comments from TNA stars. In my opinion, it's really the time to put the belt on Styles. I've heard from some sources there is concern about not having him signed to a longer deal as his contract expires in September. If that's the case, TNA needs to sit down with him now, not a month from now, not two months from now, NOW and work out a new deal. I cannot underscore enough that Styles is the heart and soul of that company and if he goes, it will be WCW in 1991 after Ric Flair walked. The company needs to make sure they hold onto their greatest investment and asset. Sean Waltman has been telling several indy promoters that he won't be returning to TNA unless they take care of back pay owed. Waltman has also accused TNA management of not returning his calls. After watching his last PPV appearance, I'm not so sure TNA should be wanting to bring him back. Credit: PWInsider.com Johnson entire report was longer than this, but some of it overlaps into the Banks' column that was posted elsewhere on the board. Anyway, I agree that TNA needs to put the belt on AJ and give him a long, extended run that ends at hands of anybody other than Jarrett.

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted May 5, 2005 This whole build, as well as what's going on behind the scenes (worried about not having an extended contract, etc) reminds me of Raven/Jarrett's first encounter. That being said, the right man had better go over this time.
