Guest Judas14 Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Days after the "Rachel dies giving birth and gives up her child to Monica and Chandler" series finale rumor was leaked, NBC has announced that Friends will be back for another season. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm....e_still
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Who cares. I stopped watching the show back in 1997 because it is a very easy show to get tired and bored or very quickly.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Who cares? The show sucks.
Guest Report post Posted February 13, 2002 That sucks.....maybe some one else will die. I love seein people die in shows like that.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Another season of Friends? YES! What, you think I watch SmackDown! on Thursday nights? El Hijo Del Lunatic is feelin' the flow and doing the bull dance.
Guest Vyce Report post Posted February 13, 2002 I would rather crawl into a dryer of razor blades with Magic Johnson than watch one moment of Friends.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Jesus.. I still like the show. It is still pretty funny.....I do record family guy and watch friends later but I enjoy it.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Why would they end a popular show like that? Sure, KILL the lead character and end any chances for a big pop reunion show 5 years later. No.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted February 13, 2002 I haven't really been following this.. so this means that the rumor was definitely false? Sure sounds like a terrible way to end a SITCOM..
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 14, 2002 That show's still on?
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted February 15, 2002 I stopped watching Friends in 1997, but recently started watching against last season. This season has been GREAT, as a sitcom having an ongoing storyline is very surprising, as before this they had the continuity of a Vince Russo storyline. I really didn't want to see the show end, and I knew the show would get renewed because where else is Matt Le Blanc going to get paid $30 million a year? Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted February 16, 2002 I still watch the show. I've been watching it for a while and although it is a lot less funny than it was years ago, I'm now only finding myself watching it just for the story. But still, Friends is one of the only, funny comedies on NBC I find myself watching.... besides syndications of Everybody Loves Raymond.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted February 16, 2002 NBC is just desperate to keep it's last ratings jugernaut. Why else would they pay them 1 million an episode, or whatever they're getting?
Guest Scotsman Report post Posted February 16, 2002 They had a goofy streak in Season 6/7....I think one episode that summed it up was Chandler getting glasses and everyone thinking he always wore glasses, then getting naked and sitting on Monicas dads crotch in the steam bath. Like...just stupid. However this season has just been f-ing amazing. The first few episodes had some great moments in them....ep #1 when Phoebe pretends Rachaels not pregnant...then in #2 right at the end where Ross grabs his red sweater, meaning he was the father of her kid. I just marked right out at that. I wasn't too happy with the Joey/Rachael storyline at first but it's beginning to get interesting. The storyline of Rachael dieing would've made for amazing TV....but I'm glad it's not happening because I never want Friends to end

Guest Scotsman Report post Posted February 16, 2002 Hey I worship Friends. Leave me alone damnit!
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted February 16, 2002 Wow, Scotsman, I guess you really ARE gay. Well, if Scotsman is gay for liking Friends, I guess I am too. Though I would like to think that if I was gay, I'd be assfucking a much more proper guy than Scotsman, maybe Don.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 17, 2002 I have never ever watched the show and dont care to. I did however get a Friends Cookbook one year for Christmas. Most of the recipes suck.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted February 20, 2002 This season of friends has been really, REALLY funny. It has had a lot of laugh out loud moments. The writers have really stepped it up this year....And they are actually using Matthew Perry, something they haven't done for awhile now....he kind of became the just there guy. David Schwimmer has just been hilarious, and been doing a lot of physical comedy this year. It has just been funny as hell to me.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted February 21, 2002 Eh. I used to watch, but the Joey/Rachel storyline doesn't do anything for me.
Guest Scotsman Report post Posted February 21, 2002 I dunno...the Joey/Rachael storyline wasn't appealing to me at first, but it's started to win me over. I still don't feel that Joeys love for Rachael is anything more than a crush......although maybe that's the way the writers are going with it. I was hoping they'd build it up and drag it out to the finale but it looks like they want to get this out in the open as quick as possible....damn I can't wait for the Olympics to end. Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted February 22, 2002 I gotta agree with Scots ... season 8 has rocked hard. The episode with the videotape was the funniest since "the one where everyone finds out" in the middle of season 5. And I'm DYING to see what Ross does to Joey right now. I've never really had problems with Friends' continuity; it gets complicated, but they love to pull out OBSCURE references from earlier episodes. In the videotape ep, Phoebe says the fake name she uses is "Regina Philange", a name she used in the Vegas episode at the end of season five. The problem with the continuity is following it, but if you know it, there're no problems really. And if watching Jennifer Aniston's boobs jiggle around on the screen makes me gay, then the word's meaning confuses me.
