Guest gangsteruwa Report post Posted May 17, 2002 I just got done watching CZW's Process of Elimination show from 4/27, and I must say how impressed I am with M-Dogg 20. At first I was very skeptical about him, with being on the "Best of Backyard Wrestling" tape (which for the record I have never, and will never watch), but holy shit, this guy is amazing. He has to be one of the better new wrestlers I have seen. If you ever get the chance to see him wrestle you would be impressed as well. The guy he wrestled, Josh Prohibition, was great as well. He had good mic skills and a solid technique. They have to be the best wrestlers to come out of a BYW group, eventhough that isn't saying much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Report post Posted May 18, 2002 As a backyard wrestler, i find this highly disrespectful. You know nothing about our "underground" sport besides what the media shoves under your nose. The hardcore feds've majorly died out an the more puro-esque style has taken it's place. The emphasis is on psyche and spots and not bleeding. Guest gangsteruwa Report post Posted May 18, 2002 Nezbyte, I'm sorry if I offended you, but you have to understand my point of view. I am a backyard wrestler also. I was saying that because most of the Backyard wrestlers that get coverage are no talent fucks, and the fact that 2 awesome wrestlers came from the backyard was very impressive. I have nothing against talented backyarders, only the ones that rely on bullshit hardcore matches and shock value. The group I am with takes pride in the fact that we don't rely on stupid stunts to get over. I am very happy to hear that you, as do others (although I haven't met many), feel the same way as I do. If you click on the homepage button under my post you will see the group that I am with. We aren't the best, but we are better than some of groups out there. I will now apologize to the other people that come to this board that don't want to hear about backyard wrestling, but I had to give my point of view.
