Guest Sakura Posted February 13, 2002 Report Posted February 13, 2002 Wasn't the whole point of the nWo angle that Vince had snapped because Ric took control? I thought he wanted to destroy the WWF. Why was this basically dropped? The last few shows Vince has been on TV acting like nothing happened. He's been talking with the wrestlers and signing matches. Why would Kurt still be his lackey and ask for matches when he knows Vince is bringing in guys to end the company and put him out of a job? Shouldn't Jericho, HHH and Austin be a little worried that these guys are coming in to kill the company and make the title they're fighting for useless? I don't even remember anyone saying anything about this, it's like if it wasn't for the promos before commercial breaks the whole thing would be dropped. What's the deal?

You know they probably will screw this thing up as well. I want to know HOW these NWO guys are going to kill the wwf without actually taking control of the titles. What happens when the split happens as well (highly possible with the current rumour that the wwf has two LIVE shows on March 25 with one being RAW).

The NWO having Stephanie Mcmahon will be ridiculous. I see it already. Anyways, Steph tried to kill the wwf and now Vince is trying to kill the wwf, so why would he care about her wanting to kill the wwf? Another thing, she is responsible along with Shane Mcmahon for allowing Ric Flair to get power. He shouldn't be aligning with Stephanie at all. I'll wait to see the storyline progress, but I'm giving until the split to see whether or not they know what the hell they are doing in terms of keeping continuity. The only real continuity that lasts in wrestling are the championship belts.

What the actual deal is, that when the WWF bought WCW, they also bought the WCW booking philosophy, and are putting it to better use than the tape library, talent, or other trademarks acquired in the purchase. There are so many plot holes in the WWF, its not even funny, a number of them already covered in this thread. I may not have WCW, but I have WCW booking to remember it by. Of course, WCW booking is why I don't have WCW anymore...but Vince must have forgotten that minor point.
