Will you order judgement day?

Well last year we had Austin/UT for the wwF title and Kane/HHH in pretty good chain match for the IC title. This year.. well ok you know what we have. The big question will you shed out 35 (dont start me on the price up issue) dollars for the first wwE ppv?

Reasons to buy the ppv:

Angle/Edge - I predict that this will be match of the night again two ppvs in a row. Their match at Backlash was really and I think that if they both put their hearts in it, it could be even better than Backlash. Plus someone is going bald!

HIAC - Ahh Vince, seeing that his ppv was struggling, pulls out the most dangerous match in wwF and E history. Is it enough to draw people though? I dont expect many if any big bumps so I think people will be disappointed here. Hopefully both men give it all and are willing to take the bumps enough to make the match good but not to end the careers.

RVD/Eddie G - Okay their match at backlash, disappointing. Hopefully this match will get at least 20 minutes and both men will pull out all the moves to make this a classic.

Reasons NOT to buy the ppv:

UT/Hogan - ok, I am not looking forward at all to this. Hopefully this isnt the last match but maybe the second to last match. Another thing is I hope it is short, real short otherwise we are in trouble here.

The Rest of the Card - its sad that Judgement Day is full of soo much crap. No crusierweight match? Whatsupwitdat?! It sucks, soo much talent yet they give crap like this for an undercard and main event.

Results: Well I can see why people are NOT going to buy the ppv. Hell I wouldnt even buy the shippy ppv. But someone else is buying it and I am going over to watch it so HA! But seriously, I would skip it and wait for KOTR. 8 or 9 matches on the card I think, I dont know and I dont even care. 3 of them isnt really enough to excite me but hey if your a risk taker, take the risk and buy it. Wouldnt it be a shocker if this ppv was actually incredibly good despite looking so bad?! Oh wait this 2002, suprises no longer exist.

If it wasn't for HITC, then I probably wouldn't be getting this PPV. Then again, my days off are Sunday and Monday's so I have every attention of drinking about 8-9 Foster's (Beer) and watching some "Wrestling" on Sunday Night.

Hell, I might need more then 9 beers to handle this PPV.

Judgement Day has been a lackluster pay per view at best.  I am not wasting my cash for this god-awful card.....

JD 1998- Kane vs. Undertaker (WWF Title): Special Ref Austin.....nothing too special.....title match sucked and it was basically a Sunday Night Raw.....

JD 1999 (Over the Edge)-  Death of Owen :(.....Another crappy Austin vs. Undertaker match with the McMahons as referees.....

JD 2000- Actually an ok ppv....capped off nicely by the good Iron Man Match.....

JD 2001- Eh....nothing to talk about much here......Kane vs. Triple H was so-so.....same with Austin vs. Taker.....seen it before bla bla bla.....only thing good was Benoit vs. Angle....

"Fuck NO!!!!!!!!!!"

I wouldn't mind seeing Angle/Edge.  Kurt Angle is a fucking freak of nature for being in this business 2 1/2 years and being as good as he is.

I'm looking forward to this Judgment Day.  I am looking forward to seeing Taker win the title and I hope his match with Hogan is booked to perfection.  I am glad that I won't have to pay for it as a girl I know has invited me over to watch it with her.

What I meant was that I will not plunk down good money for this particular show. I don't feel it is worth $34.95. None of the ppv's this year have been IMO.

No i won't even consider buying this craptastic PPV.

Oh yeah if some of you are only buying it for 3 matches i have a suggestion. Tell Vince to go to hell don't give him your money and buy a tape of a PPV off ebay. You'd be able to get one for 10 & under or at most 15(including shipping) and wouldn't be giving Vince $34.99 for churning out garbage.

If I had to pay for it...maybe, maybe not.

But thats not a problem, so I don't really worry.

No. I just don't care about the product like I did months ago. I used to be so hyped for ppvs, even if the card looked bad. Now there's not even good build up to get my into a ppv if the card looks like crap. I didn't get Backlash and I won't get this, instead I'll have the regular weekly Sunday night Halo multiplayer session. Halo is better than Hell in a Cell.

Still contemplating it. I always hate to miss a ppv, just cause. But, this is one I'm not really looking forward to. I would like to see HIAC, Eddie - RVD, Angle - Edge, and Brock - Hardys (Heyman won't do hardly anything but lose the match) but the other half doesn't have me very intrigued. Oh well, I'll probably wait until Sun. to decide.

no chance of me buying it, this show just isnt worth $25.  but i think there is a cruiser match? isnt kidman facing hurricane, or possibly hurricane v the mystery note dude (didnt he say something of the sort on smackdown?).

also, wtf happened to the torrie-kidman angle? kidman is getting over, and torrie would really get him some heat.  it seems to be taking far too long for them to get her away from tajiri.

Being the Taker Mark i am, i booked the Pay-Per-View as soon as i saw the promotional poster...as it has Undertaker on the front, therefore he must play an important role in the card.

Any title match the Taker is in i always buy, however this one, even ill admit, will blow. Ross described this as an 'old school' outing? No...Taker-Austin LAST year was fuckin' OLD SCHOOL and it kicked a lot of ass, one of Taker's better matches, if not his best, for that year. This one..will be very slow...very methodical...very..well...boring. Im all for watchin' big Mark whip ass, but HOGAN? Oh dear God...

I just hope to hell this is one of those PPV's that LOOK really bad..but turn out really good...but hell, There will be a cold day in hell before the WWE pulls out anything worth while, judging by its current logic.

**YAWN** Where'd i stick that Summerslam '97 tape?

This has been the Taker Mark

I'm ordering it.

The reason being that I enjoyed most of Backlash...so the WWE will get my money this month.

If I don't enjoy this one...than it will be much more dependant on the card next time.

You internet fans are fucking jaded. You seem to hate wrestling!! This PPV will be entertaining. Who needs ***** matches as long as it is entertaining. (eg Hogan/Rock WM18).

If you go to non wrestling related fan sites the fans talk about that particular interest. You wrestling fans just bitch and moan. Why fucking watch?!? You internet freaks only represent a small % of the wrestling audience, so your opinions are worthless shit.

Besides our PPV's are $20.95 Australian (about $12 US) so I get 'em all

vlad, our ppv's are about to go up to $26.95 (or 30.95 if late), but still, our deal rocks bells compared with the prices for ppv in north america

are you going to the wwf show in melbourne?

It's a poorly done card and whatever payoff comes from this for any match will be useless.

The only things I could care about would be RVD/Guerrero, Hurricane, and Edge/Angle.

IMO, Royal Rumble is still the only PPV worth PAYING for.

Just wait for the results for every other PPV, unless the matches look like they're gonna be one of those classics you wanna watch over and over again.

And anyways, my friend has a hacked satellite so I just watch the crappy ones there. I actually pay to order/go to Famous Players to see Royal Rumble. Guess I'm just a mark for that PPV.

LOL, it's easy to say shit like this when you're only paying $12 for a PPV. American fans have to pay nearly THREE TIMES that amount. Is it too much to ask for *good matches* in exchange for our $34.95? (though HIAC, Angle/Edge, and Eddy/RVD should be good)

We happen to find good wrestling entertaining. How is Big Show entertaining (when he isn't doing Hogan impressions) ? Trish vs. Stacy Keibler? Even this could have been almost acceptable, from a purely storyline (and not workrate) POV, if it were given more than 5 minutes of buildup. I would have gone with something like an Ivory/Molly vs. Trish handicap match or something. God forbid they involve the women's champ in a match with someone she's actually been feuding with.

As far as going to "non-wrestling related fan sites", sorry, but there will be plenty of bitching & moaning there, too. It's the nature of fandom. I spent about 20 minutes reading posts on a Civilization III message board, and most of it was a lot of complaining about how the game sucks and that it's a step backward from every other Civ game. Go to any comic book message board, and chances are you'll be seeing a ton of bitching there, too. It's not just with wrestling.

I seriously doubt they'll be able to top that 28-star classic between Chyna and Lita from last years Judgment Day...but seeing is how Jericho's the new ICON I've gotta order it.

First, I don't give the Wwf my money; they don't deserve it.  They would only spend it on Stephs lypo or something anways.

It has been my exerience that these 'internet fans' seem to love wrestling.  The Wwf is not wrestling.  Realize that.

I could buy 3 tapes with the amount a Wwf ppv costs.  That would definately take precidence over a little Wwf ppv which will more likely than not disappoint.
