Guest Kojack Report post Posted May 17, 2002 They should bring back the two man power trip. IN other words the team of HHH and Stone Cold. I loved that team feuding with UT and Kane. Stone Cold was so vicious with the chair and I remeber him totally destoring Kane after a match. Give them the Tag Titles or something. They were very entertaining and throw in a huge face like The Rock to have a 3 way match with heelish antics of course. This can really get the WWE some more ratings in my mind. All of a sudden, just because Austin became heel, he teams with the man he hates the most. It never made sense, and the feud with UT/Kane was horrible because UT/Kane sucked at that period...... IF you throw steph out of the pic and the whole gimmick looks better. Turn Y2J to a face adn team with Benny and you get some good matches. Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted May 18, 2002 they dont need to put main eventers into the tag scene, thats only a bandaid solution, they need to develop permanent teams from the lower-midcards. it also doesnt really work with established guys there either, unless they have a total gimmick shift (ie the APA when they were simply the accolytes were very cool imo). bring up some guys from the developmentals, and instead of having them act as managers/enforcers (rico and deacon) team them up and establish them as a threat in the tag scene. that way they get time to develop and the tag scene is freshened, rather than simply one night only teams like we are used to. FUCK YOU FOR BEING SO DAMN GOOD BENOIT! Anyways... The two-man power trip was wicked, i LOVED that storyline they did with Kane & Taker, me being a Taker Mark to begin with amplifyed the intensity a few notches. I like that idea, it'd give Austin something to do BESIDES what he's been doing for about 5 years, fighting the owner/booker/authority figure etc. etc. Screw you Benoit! We'd see 3 of the top workers today (Benoit Y2J Sorm) together and then have maybe CHristian in to help him get going. Austin is one of the greatest heels of all time and his style meshed with HHH's perfectly, whether the team made sense or not. And with the exception of the week leading up to Judgment Day, where they worked that dumb ass "Sara's car accident" angle, their program with Taker and Kane was pretty good. Benoit, Jericho, and Storm are great workers but the Canada stable has been done too many times to count. I think those three (and Christian) deserve better than to be in a worn out gimmick that's based around nationality. I'd prefer to have Benoit, Storm, and Y2J cut promos about how devastating their submission moves are than a corny promo about government run health care.
