Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 17, 2002 I just had a couple of ideas... "He-Man" -- starring Triple H "Wonder Woman" -- starring Carmen Electra
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 17, 2002 Wow...those would be two of the worse movies ever.
Guest pochorenella Report post Posted May 17, 2002 "He-Man" -- starring Triple H "Wonder Woman" -- starring Carmen Electra I hated the original "Master of the Universe" movie, I doubt Trips can make any better. It would need to be a very big-budget movie to make it any good, but with all the demand for 80's stuff these days I could be wrong. Elektra's weight issues could disqualify her for the part, but I'd like a WW movie. Lynda Carter was a perfect match. Yum! As for what I'd like to see, Marvel has their movie schedule all lined up, so next in line is Daredevil and Hulk. But I really pray they do justice to Iron Man. Along with Spidey, he's my favorite hero.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 17, 2002 Wow...those would be two of the worse movies ever. Yeah ... but you'd go see HHH play He-Man just out of curiosity, wouldn't you?
Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted May 17, 2002 Shit, I aint gonna front. I'd definitely see HHH as He-man, just because the guy LOOKS the part, but I think the acting would be atrocious. Man, WWE really doesn't need more of their wrestlers leaving though. Can you believe that The Rock was still lil' ol' Rocky Maivia less than 5 years ago? Guest Report post Posted May 17, 2002 Looking forward to the Hulk.

No i honestly wouldn't. I can't stand the guy talking for 10 minutes on WWeee. I'd rather watch Marlon Brando and Roseanne have sex then to watch an hour and a half of HHH "acting". Byah...the...powerah...of greyskull...i am...theah...game...and :shoots self: I'd catch it on HBO just to laugh at how bad it truly is.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted May 18, 2002 IMO HHH would make a better Hawkman. He's got the beak, the pose, and a similar weapon (sledgehammer vs. mace). And given Steph's screeching ability, I guess she could be Hawkgirl... And Wonder Woman is currently in the purgatory known as "development".
Guest Report post Posted May 18, 2002 I wanna see an Iron Man movie.

Guest Risk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Here are some of my choices: Ultimate X-Men Ultimate Spider-Man Batman: Year One Smallville: The Movie Captain America Iron-Man I'd love to see Black Sabbath reunite to write some songs for the Iron-Man movie. Maybe have "Real American" for Captain America.
Guest Risk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Heh, maybe Steph could play Sheera, He-Man's sister. His busty sister. Vince or Flair could play Skeletor, Lesnar could play Beast-Man, X-Pac could play Men-At-Arms(LOL), LMAO. " I WILL DEFEAT YOU SKELETOR-UH!" "I'M SKELETOR, DAMNIT!" Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 22, 2002 ...and Lucy could play Battlecat.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted May 22, 2002 Here are some of my choices: Ultimate X-Men Ultimate Spider-Man Batman: Year One Smallville: The Movie Captain America Iron-Man I doubt we'll see Ultimate X-Men. The current Spider-Man movie is a mix between Classic and Ultimate, so an Ultimate Spidey is probably out as well... Batman 5 will allegedly be Batman: Year One. And I'm not sure I could stand seeing another bad Cap movie.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 22, 2002 And wouldn't a Captian America movie be bad regardless? Seeing as how he's a rather shitty superhero.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted May 22, 2002 He'd be good for a one-off movie. Man out of time and all that. Mind you, they did that in the last movie, but it COULD be done decently...
Guest EQ Report post Posted May 25, 2002 And wouldn't a Captian America movie be bad regardless? Seeing as how he's a rather shitty superhero. LOL... I think he sucks too... hey... no offense to Cap marks though... Me, as I said before, I'd love to see a Green Lantern movie... and another Superman movie... (I'm a Superman mark)
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted May 25, 2002 Why not a Green Hornet movie?
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 25, 2002 I think all you Cap haters should check out his new relaunched series, which is pretty good.
Guest EQ Report post Posted May 25, 2002 Hey, give me some info on the series. I'll keep an open mind and check it out.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 25, 2002 It's only up to issue #2, but the way they're approaching it seems to be from less of a "Cap vs. super-villains" standpoint than it used to be. They're playing up the "super soldier ass-kicker" aspect more. In the current story arc, he's fighting terrorists who have taken over a small town. It comes off a little as propaganda, but Cap is portrayed as more of a tough badass instead of the all-American golden boy that some people don't like. The art (by John Cassaday) is awesome, and it's written by John Ney Reiber (of The Books of Magic).

I really liked the first issue... seems better than "Cap Vs. Super Villain" type thing. I'll keep an eye on this series.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 25, 2002 Back to the topic, though... I'd have to say... a solo Wolverine movie because I'm a Wolverine mark. In X-Men, it basically was HIS movie.. so. That is all.

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 25, 2002 Brother-Man, starring Booker T. Now, if ANYONE out there can tell me about the Brother-Man comic, I will personally mark out. I think I'm the only person who's ever seen it.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted May 25, 2002 Really I don't want to see any. This is just the latest fad in moviemaking that will die off in a few years after a bunch of lesser titles have bombed and all the rest get cancelled before they ever appear. Really, X-Men was the only one I've liked so far, so the sequel to that could be good. Otherwise if they are going to do more, they should do some really over the top ones like Silver Surfer (with Galactus et al), Fantastic 4 vs. Doctor Doom, Infinity Gauntlet, etc.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted May 26, 2002 Space Ghost!!! id mark out for a space ghost movie, bu more importantly, would brak be in this movie...im somewhat of a brak mark
Guest Report post Posted May 26, 2002 I think for a superhero movie to be good, the story should come from the comics. Thats why I think the batman movies have sucked because they changed too much. I would piss myself if they came out with a Batman movie based on the The Last Arkam storyline or The Kinghtfall storyline. Both would kick much ass and actually make sense. I mean, the last Batman movie, Bane was an idiot(which he is not), Batman was waaaaaay to smart and crasty( Oh no their frozen! oh...we got bat warmers!). Batman needs to go back to its roots. Same goes with Superman. I say in the next superman movie either do the death of Superman storyline or the Fall of Metropolis storyline. Man if I knew how to write a script, I'd easly make them a kickass script based on those storylines. Heh....I haven't read comics in five years too.... Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 26, 2002 This might interest some of you: (from http://www.filmstew.com/Content....6&Pg=1) Sony's Columbia Pictures looks to pick up Ghost Rider in turnaround from Dimension. By Spencer Garvey Another Marvel Entertainment project stands a ghost of a chance, with Columbia Pictures in negotiations to acquire Ghost Rider in turnaround from Dimension Films. If all goes as planned, Shane Salerno (Shaft) will rewrite the material for Columbia, currently riding on the heels of its success with Marvel's Spider-Man. The film is about a former motorcycle stuntman who agrees to let his body become host to a vengeful spirit in exchange for the safety of his true love. The price he pays is that at night he is transformed into Ghost Rider, a bike-riding demon with a flaming skull. As his alter ego, he avenges souls tarnished by evil. Both Steve Norrington and Nicolas Cage had been attached to direct and star in the film when it was at Dimension. Neither is now involved, although it's hoped that Cage will still be interested in playing the title role. Marvel Entertainment's Avi Arad and Crystal Sky's Steven Paul will produce.
