Guest Nevermortal Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 In my Providence (Rhode Island) Journal, today 5/17.. "Erich Kulas, 22, of Harvard Street died Tuesday at home. Born in Cranston, Rhode Island, son of Stephen & Donna Kulas, both of Cranston, he was a lifelong resident of Cranston. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Justin Kulas, also of Cranston." Didn't mention anything about the New Jack incident or his wrestling career.
Guest The Great Wesuke Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 Well, as far as I can tell he wasn't much of a wrestler in the first place and the entire ECW incident was his biggest angle. I did a double take when I saw 22 years old, but yea... I went and checked and he was only 17 when it happened so it all checks out.
Guest TheDames7 Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 Maybe after he became a hermit (after the ECW incident), he read all of the disparaging remarks and lost his self-esteem to the point where he killed himself. Thats my take on it. I hope I wasn't too harsh last time we talked about him....I'd feel guilty if I killed him. Dames - Kulas Killer
Guest The Great Wesuke Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 That was just a shade tastless Dames. I'm not going to sit here and praise someone just because they are dead (Hell, Hitler is dead... that doesn't make him a nice person) but I don't know this kid and all I can say is I'm sorry for his loved ones. That is all.
Guest TheDames7 Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 In all seriousness, I would feel bad though if he killed himself due to disparaging comments. From what I knew, he feel into a great depression afterwards.... Dames
Guest The Great Wesuke Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 I have a feeling cause of death was probably natural, the kid weighed 400 pounds.
Guest TheDames7 Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 Even so....he was 22. Kids don't have heart attacks that young do they? Dames
Guest Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 NO matter the reason it is sad to see one so young die at this age and no doubt he has left many people in mourning. May he rest in peace.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 I have a feeling that his heart was what killed him, either through his obesity, or possibly drug usage. It is just waiting for the autopsy to tell us if it is natural or unnatural causes that killed him. Correct me if I am wrong, but that press release didn't mention anything about suicide, did it?
Guest Nevermortal Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 No, it was just a short obituary. The text after that just mentioned funeral arrangements. I'd suspect it was a heart attack, they ran a photo of him and he was very very overweight.
Guest The Great Wesuke Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 Even so....he was 22. Kids don't have heart attacks that young do they? Perfectly fit people have had heart attacks at a young age. Being overweight is NEVER a good thing for you.
Guest Posted May 18, 2002 Report Posted May 18, 2002 1bob mgiht mention what he died of. Obits don't tell you what someone died of all the time.
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted May 19, 2002 Report Posted May 19, 2002 Iwrestling(where i 1st got the story) didnt say what he died of just that he was found dead on tuesday i think it was at the age of 22.
Guest Posted May 19, 2002 Report Posted May 19, 2002 My bio teacher (Who is very young) had a friend die at 19 of a heart attack who was in great condition and was a swimmer.
