Guest Report post Posted May 18, 2002 Just looking into the History of Judgement Day on the WWE Judgement Day site, i've come across 1998's Judgement Day PPV. I remember the build up and everything, however i never ORDERED the PPV as Australia did not have WWF PPV capabilities until 2000 ( In Queensland anyway ). Was the event any good? For those who have seen it, or own it, what is your own personal analysis? Thanks, This has been the Taker Mark
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted May 18, 2002 The Taker/Kane main event isn't the greatest match in the World. Most "smarks" don't like the show. Although watching McMahon "fire" Austin was funny.
Guest papacita Report post Posted May 19, 2002 I swear they stole this PPV name from my old fed. Anyway, X-Pac and D'Lo was the highlight of the night for me...and watching Austin get fired.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted May 20, 2002 Really just a blaw show. Taker/Kane mail it in after a minute and a half of action and it all goes downhill from there. Austin's ref job was kind of entertaining, but nothing you can't see in a million other "special guest referee" matches. Just a total throw-away show that tried to make waves with a shock ending that they ended up going back on the following night.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted May 20, 2002 Main event sucked, but the midcard was okay, I remember Christian-TAKA and Mankind-Shamrock being pretty good. Nothing to write home about, though.
