3CW News: June 10th show inc HUGE TITLE REMATCH,

FRESH OFF THE "TIGER IN THE TOWER" SHOW, HUGE MATCHES ANNOUNCED!

 

Just days removed from Tiger in the Tower, and the card for the 10th of June is really taking shape with some HUGE matches that have been signed and can now be announced!

 

First of all, the rematch clause has come into effect, and ironically enough, Jayson Mayson has screwed HIMSELF out of a possible title match, as the NEW 3CW Heavyweight Champion Stevie Lynn will face off against former Champ ICE XVII with the title on the line! As anyone who saw these two tear the house down at the Tower will confirm, you do NOT want to miss this huge match for all the marbles! This time however, its a THIRTY MINUTE IRONMAN MATCH.

 

Also, FINALLY, one on one, KID RICHIE will get his 3CW Young Lions Title shot and a ONE ON ONE SHOWDOWN with perrenial nemesis and former tag team partner CHIRS WHITTON! It's WHITTON VS RICHIE at Billingham, and expect this to be a WAR!

 

We will finally have 3CW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS at Billingham, as Team IWF, Dave Styles and "Bad Boy" Jed Masters, will face off against CHRIS CANNON and GBH! It's 3CW Vs IWF for the 3CW Tag Team straps, it's STYLES VS CANNON one more time, and you do not want to miss it!

 

The "Celtic Tiger" himself will also be in the house, and BLAKE NORTON is out for Jayson Mayson's BLOOD after what Mayson did to him at the Tower Club! And what's more, with Mayson having cost Ice the Title and Ice having triggered his rematch clause, management have paired the two off - IT WILL BE NORTON VS MAYSON IN BILLINGHAM, ONE-ON-ONE, and the issue ignited in December will be brought to a HEAD on the 10th of June!

 

The Vegas Connection of "Mr 50/50" Dan Evans and Vincent D White are still extremely sore after their war with Cannon and GBH in the Semi Finals of the tag team tournament, and in more ways than one, as the burly duo are IRATE that they will not compete for the Tag straps on the 10th of June! They WILL, however, compete for the right to take the first shot at the new Champs, whoever they should be, and they will face the challenge of The Kraze, Cameron Kraze and the Shooter, as the most narrowly defeated Semi Finalists in the Four Way match. With a number of other teams likely to be vying for Contendership in the near future, including the Natrass Boys and the A* Alliance, both teams will certainly be looking to make this golden opportunity to get the first shot count!

 

You'd think that defeat at the hands of General Trent Steel would have taught the "Mecca of Manliness", the "Playboy" Jonny Love, a lesson about biting off more than he can chew. Apparently not. The Playboy seems bizzarely pleased recently - speculation is the trays at the Tower Club have affected his mind! - and has laid out another massive challenge to a man General Trent Steel knows rather well. That being the current wZw Heavyweight Champion - THE ICEMAN. The self proclaimed "strong style superman" will be making his 3CW debut on the 10th... and will certainly be the favorite of many against the Playboy after the beating that Love took against the General! Will Love be able to somehow defeat the well known Iceman, or will Iceman notch up a victory in his first 3CW appearence?

 

Brother War will also be in the house on the 10th, and will face somewhat stiffer opposition this time around as the talented "Unbreakable" Bobby Jackson makes his return to 3 Count Wrestling. Bobby impressed many during the 3CW Vs IWF "problems" in March, and will go into the match as an underdog, but an extremely tough and battle hardened underdog at that! Will the smaller Jackson manage to pull off a massively impressive upset against the monster War? Find out on the 10th!

 

In other notes, we understand a man who wishes to be known as "the Pale Rider" - Gabriel Grey - will be in the house, quite possibly still nursing the wounds inflicted by Brother War at the Tower Club.

This past Saturday, May 28th, Celtic Pro Wrestling’s “The Celtic Tiger” Blake Norton returned to 3-Count Wrestling in England. In a tag team match pitting Norton and “Sweet” Stevie Aaron against Jayson Mayson and 3CW Young Lyons Champion Chris Whitton, Norton was seeking revenge upon Mayson, whose betrayal in December led to “The Celtic Tiger” being deported from Europe for six months.

 

Instead of finding revenge, however, Norton instead found his first pinfall defeat in England in over a year.

 

It wasn’t until the closing moments of a furious twenty-minute match that Norton was finally able to get his hands on Mayson, who had avoided coming face to face with his nemesis from the opening bell. “The Celtic Tiger” took Mayson down and applied his “Stu Lock” finishing hold, but it was broken up courtesy of an enzugiri to the head by Mayson’s partner Chris Whitton. With the referee distracted by the ensuing brawl between Whitton and Sweet Stevie, Mayson shattered his mounted gold record over Norton’s head, securing himself a pinfall victory in the center of the ring.

 

The irate crowd in attendance rose in unison and chanted “five more minutes.” An incensed Norton struggled to his feet and dove from the ring out on to Mayson on the arena floor. He continued to pound on Mayson until finally being physically restrained by Sweet Stevie, Kid Richie and CPW officials.

 

What was designed to be an opportunity for revenge for “The Celtic Tiger” instead became a new chapter in the most heated rivalry in English wrestling. It is now official that Norton and Mayson will finally meet one-on-one on Friday June 10th in Billingham, England, in the grudge match to end all grudge matches.
