Guest Catcher8C Report post Posted June 4, 2005 I had not seen any topics covering this, and i assumed that it belonged in general wrestling. I went to the theaters last night and saw the longest yard, and i can tell already that it's getting unfairly blasted when critics say that it's simply average. If the goal of a movie is to create interest for people before its' release and during its' showtimes, the movie is a good one. (IMO) I also thought that it was awesome seeing nash, goldberg, and austin in the film. While people like to blast Nash and Goldberg here, they gave good performances and were given significant screen time. Austin was a little less impressive, playing his regular on-screen character, but he did have a memorable piece of dialogue where he repeatedly called Nelly a nigger. Comments?
