Guest Report post Posted May 18, 2002 Dang, yo, I was gonna make a thread like this in a couple minutes Anyway, I'll be ordering JD, if only for 3 announced and the two possible matches. WWF Title: I know I'm a Taker mark, but I just want the belt off Hogan. Winner: Undertaker Hell In A Cell: I really, REALLY want to say Jericho, but look at what's happened lately: Jericho beats HHH by pulling tights. HHH gets beat and bloody, HHH loses to D'Von. Guess who's winning. ((yes, I did get that idea from the WZ Article))Winner: Triple H Hair vs. Hair: Once again, I really REALLY want to say ANGLE, because 1, he's in my top 5 of all time and 2, Edge would kinda look cool bald. But this should be Edge getting the ultimate rub and going to the main event. Winner: Edge IC Title: The best way to keep this feud alive would be to have Eddy keep the title. Heck, here's a 3 month plan for this feud: Eddy wins at JD. In the KOTR, RVD beats Eddy in the finals to win. RVD gets a title shot at, let's say Undertaker at Fully Loaded. Eddy costs RVD match. RVD challenges Eddy to a ladder match at Summerslam, where RVD finally wins the title again. Bang, there ya go. Winner: Eddy Guerrero Handicap Match: I hate to say it, Austin has sucked this year. Lack of motivation or whatever, I kinda feel bad for him. If Austin wins, the nWo angle is killed (of course, it already is) and if nWo wins...well, so what? I say Booker costs Austin the match. Winners: Show & Flair Tag Team Titles: There's a good possibility the mystery partner will be Grandmaster Sexay, but why would Vince CHOOSE him for Rikishi? I say he picks Test or Albert or someone who will cost Rikishi the match. Winner: Billy & Chuck Tag Match: Squish, squash. Please make this short. Winners: Lesnar & Heyman Women's Title: Once again, let's get this over with. Post match, I see Bubba putting D'Von through a table. Winner: Trish Hopefully, the Euro and CW title matches will be added, but they'll probably be on Heat. I pick D'LO to win if they have that match, and Hurricane retains the CW title (it would be cool if they revealed the mystery 'stalker', but I doubt it)

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Undisputed WWE Championship Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker hmm...on the bright side I honestly don't know who will win. On the down side...I don't care. I'll take Hogan since the pop he got on Smackdown probably made this decision for Vince "I listen to fans...and honestly couldn't hear that RVD was the most over star the entire second half of last year" McMahon Hell in a Cell Triple H vs. Chris Jericho Point in fact: Jericho should win because unlike HHH he is has the potential to make some waves in the main event scene at this time. BUT...that is the exact reason he won't. Maybe a double turn....either way... HHH Hair vs. Hair Match Kurt Angle vs. Edge Well...Edge has that great big feud with HHH that everyone is dying to see.......................................................... Edge WWE Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero It depends on whether or not the WWE wants this to go another month. On one hand I hope so...but given the fact that these 2 are 2 of the top 3 guys on Raw...they should be doing so much more. RVD...but no title Handicap Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show No that Hall, Hogan and Nash aren't around for the nwo angle...Austin will put them over. Flair gets the pin to set up the Austin vs. Flair match at KOTR that I really really wanted to see back in 1993. Better late than never I suppose. Tag Match Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Maybe Brock being unover will result in him turning on Heyman and turning face after Heyman gets pinned...I could see a storyline that Heyman recruits someone to take down a new big face version of Brock...actually...I want to see that...so it won't happen. Hardy girls...for behaving on the plane Tag Team Championship Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi and a partner to be named later I don't know or care who the partner is because whoever it is will then feud with Rikishi...and I don't want to see it. The red tights party Women's Championship Trish Stratus (with Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (with Reverend D-Von) I don't know...maybe Stacy wins...loses to Molly on Raw and THEN we can get to Molly vs. Trish in a title match. Stacy Speculated Matches European Championship D'Lo Brown vs William Regal Regal wins. Cruiserweight Championship The Hurricane vs Tajiri Hurricane wins so that when the mystery man appears they can fight over the belt...you know...at least the WWE is giving the cruisers angles now. Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker I have to say Hogan, only because McMahon knows he can't have his #1 belt jumping around like the Hardcore Title Triple H vs. Chris Jericho HHH, Jericho needs the win more, but HHH has put over Jericho and D Von to justify his victory Kurt Angle vs. Edge Before Backlash, Edge was winning all the tag teams and house show matches, then Angle won at Backlash. Now Angle is winning all the house show and tag matches. Edge will take it. Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero RVD will win, he shouldn't, but he will. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show Stone Cold's year has sucked. The nWo has sucked. If Austin wins the nWo is dead. If Flair and Big Show win, it's another shovel full of dirt on his credibility. Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman No way Heyman really fights, he'll do the "leg injury" and someone like Rhyno, Mike Awesome or someone from OVW will fight. Either that or the WWE remembers the great Hardyz breakup angle and Matt turns on Jeff. Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi & ??? The parnter is either, Funaki, Crash, Albert or Test. All Useless guys. Trish Stratus (with Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (with Reverend D-Von) I hope Stacy wins just so we can see her on both shows. Speculated Matches D'Lo Brown vs William Regal Who gives a shit? The Hurricane vs Tajiri I give a shit. Nova is the stalker. Hurricane wins after Torrie causes a distraction by "accident"

Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Boobs McShort and Legs McTall wern't bad. Hogan vs. Taker: damn straight I'll be watching this, as a combined 30-something years of ring experience comes together to produce what could be one of the worst matches ever. My friends who hate wrestling can't wait for this one. As for the match, we'll see if Vince either realizes Hogan is tanking and we get our 2nd straight one month champ, or if those weird Canadians have bought us another month of crap-a-mania. Either way sucks, but I think we've beat the holy hell out of that horse at this point. I will say that Taker is in the unique position of not having to go easy on Hogan like everyone else, due to his "low-impact" offense. HHH vs. Jericho R.I.P., Hell in the Cell, we hardly knew ye. This will be a good match, but will serve to kill the only gimmick match that was still breathing, as I bet a lot of people don't even realize that an HITC match is even on this card, what with the week and a half of buildup. This match will resemble Taker-HBK, as HHH is very similar to Taker as of current, a slow guy with crappy moves who gets by on reputation and menacing glares. Look for major squashing, and some nasty bumps from Jericho, although he probably won't have to be thrown off of anything. And don't be suprised when both Vince and the sledgehammer get involved in a way that makes the whole sports bar groan. Angle vs. Edge "Well, we've run ladder and harcore matches into the ground. Let's bring back the hair!" Yeah, whatever. Despite the recent revelation that Edge would look sort of cool bald, let's look at this logically. A guy who's about a .6 on the Nash scale is fighting a guy who's practically bald, and the loser gets a trim. Hmmmmm. Look for a solid 10 minute match, followed by 10 minutes of stupidity. And if the inevitable HHH-Edge fued boils down to a hair match, look for me to be laughing my ass off. RVD vs. Eddie. The Superstar had a great idea for Eddie to win this. RVD would then beat Eddie in King of the Ring, Eddie costs RVD a title shot, and they have a big ladder blow off to put RVD back on track of saving the IC belt. The problem is: 1. The IC champ most likely won't be in the tournament, even though he should. 2. The tourney winner won't get a PPV title shot, especially if it's Van Dam. 3. I think the ladder match blowoff is already set for next month. Apparently only Regal can have long feuds. Hey you know what might help this match? Remind people that it's happening! They might as well hire Super Crazy and put him in Van Dam's spot, because you'd think RVD can't speak English with all the speaking he does on TV. This should be a spot fest, since the last match bored the audience with such outdated concepts as transitions, psychology, and submission holds. What is this, NWA? Anyway, look for this feud to fast forward to it's conclusion in June, rather than, I don't know, make the IC belt important or something. Austin and whatever. I guess it's safe to say that the NWO thing could have been handled better. Here's a question. Since Nash and Hall aren't around, people might not realize this is the NWO, so why not just change the name and pretend the whole thing never happened? Now that Booker and Flair have been attached to this death machine, I guess they'll try to make it look like a threat. For two weeks anyway, then all 4 guys will lose to Rikishi or something. Speaking of which... AGD vs. Kishi and whoever Here's an idea. Fire Billy and Chuck. Reunite all the good tag teams. Then in 3 months, go "Oh look! We found the tag titles! I guess they got lost in the luggage or something." Ah, dare to dream. Anyway, I belive this is a Vince selected partner, so it'll probably be some hoss who attacks Kishi, after inexpicably working as his partner for 5 minutes. If the partner is Rico, I will admit to being amused. Unless Kishi wins. Lesnar and such Heyman blows it, Brock kicks his ass to get a mega face push, except that now he has even less heat because he turned after like a month. Stay within the lines, kids. Chicks Wow, we actually cared about the chick matches for a couple months! That was weird, huh? Meanwhile, I had a horrible nightmare about D-Von winning the HC title after the match. Bradshaw vs. Pac We all know it's gonna happen, so don't tell me it's not on the card. Meanwhile, the Euro and Cruiser titles will be on Heat. D-Lo vs. Regal My prediction: the production guys totally forgot this match is happening and we get to see Maven vs. Orton. Oh good. Hurricane and whoever the WWF has a pretty good thing going with this Hurri-stalker thing, and the fans seem to be behind it. So naturally, they blow thier load on Heat and ruin the whole thing. Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Hogan/Taker - Taker goes over so Hogan drops the belt without putting anyone new over. I can hardly contain my excitement over the prospect of Taker being on both shows. Double the slow matches and boring interviews. And there goes any hope of Angle and Jericho ever being booked as serious main event heels. I guess Hogan moves on to feud with Vince before he, hopefully, takes a break. HITC - Most everyone knows who needs to win this match and who should win this match. And it's apparent that person will not be winning the match. Jericho is not Triple H's real foil. Triple H's interview on SD was all about Vince and he even made sure to treat Jericho as nothing but a pawn in a game between him and Vince. I don't see how Jericho can go anywhere but back to the midcard after being Triple H's bitch yet again. Hair match - Edge wins, Angle plays a goofy dork some more. I have no idea where Angle goes after this feud. Handicap match - Austin wins when Booker T's interference backfires. At least that is what they did at the house shows this weekend and it would make sense. The NWO would then beat him down and turn him face in the process. IC - RVD wins by DQ and they have a blowoff ladder match next month with RVD winning the title back. I don't care enough about any of the other matches to even make predictions. Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 WOMANS Championship Stratus/w Bubba vs Keibler/w D-Von I said this before, this match makes the women's division look weak again. This is pretty much thrown together so the "brothers" can fight out side of the ring. btw, you guys hear "Big Dick Dudley" died? Also, I wouldn't be shocked if Richards gets involved for some odd reason in this match and it just turns into one big Hardcore mess. Always. WINNER; Trish...maybe Buh Buh, as new Hardcore champ. Hardy Boys Vs Brock & Heyman Please don't put Heyman in tights! The world isn't ready to see his Jelly Roll, LoL. Common sense says, Heyman loses the match and Brock goes nuts and destroys him. But, this is the WWE and the Hardyz will beat Brock because Brock is still being punished for his plane Incident. Dumbass' WINNERS; Hardyz Tag Team Championship Chuck & Billy Vs Rikishi & ?? I'm guessing.........Hurricane will be the Mystery partner, but still lose. After the match, or somehow towards the end, Rico reveals he's been sending the Hurri-notes. Setting up a Cruiser Feud between Hurricane & Rico. WINNERS; Sucky & Sucky w/Rico Handicap Match Austin Vs Flair & Big Show Flair & Big Show win here and then at King Of The Ring we get Flair Vs Austin. ... Wait, Austin do a job? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. WINNER; Austin IC Championship Van Dam Vs Eddie G Lets just hope RVD looks better this time or he may never get to the higher card, No pun attended. Get It? RVD? High? Awww Fuck it! WINNER; Eddie Hair Vs Hair Angle Vs Edge You would think Angle would get shaved here, right? I think Edge loses and Angle only cuts off half his hair until some idiot runs in to help Edge. Edge shows up on the Next Smackdown with a shorter, newer look for his new "image/Character." WINNER; Angle HELL IN THE CELL Triple H Vs Y2J Why bother? WINNER; Triple H Main Event; WWE World championship Hogan vs Undertaker Damn, I really don't know. Ratings are dropping with Hogan. Taker won't help. If Taker does win he'll lose it fast, but that isn't a good idea to switch World Champions every damn month. WINNER; Not the Fans.
Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Oh Yeah, My other prediction. WWE won't even mention Davey Boy.
Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Undisputed WWE Championship Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker Hogan will somehow win, because when someone finally takes it off him, it will be a big deal. The Undertaker has no rub left to give Jericho, Edge, Angle, or any other "next big thing". The only way Undertaker could give anyone rub would be if they were a "next, next big thing" (like Maven) and we know they wouldn't put the title on someone like that. Hell in a Cell Triple H vs. Chris Jericho Jericho. He HAS to win. If he doesn't he's finished, and might as well change his name to Y2 Horowitz. He really will be jobber to the stars. If he doesn't win, he had better get royally screwed out of the win (think Undertaker in UT vs HBK) and must then turn face to utterly destroy (verbally at least) HGH. Hair vs. Hair Match Kurt Angle vs. Edge I think Angle wins and Edge becomes a badass and stops humping the floor during his ring entrance. Because it's dumb. WWE Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero Guerrero - if he doesn't cheat to win against RVD then the WWE has absolutely NOTHING to do with RVD, Guerrero, or the I-C title Handicap Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show Austin will win because he will refuse to lose the the nWold. He beat the odds the beat Booker, right? He shouldn't have, but he did. Imagine how far the Austin-VInce feud would have gone if Austin had NEVER been effected by VInce and his evil schemes. Sheesh. This is just Vince's way of "proving" what he was doing in 96 & 97 really WAS superior to WCW, it's just that no one saw it at the time. Tag Match Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Brock wins. Hopefully he doesn't do a turn on Heyman in the process, because it's TOO early for that. Tag Team Championship Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi and a partner to be named later Rikishi and his partner, who turns out to be Haku :-) Women's Championship Trish Stratus (with Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (with Reverend D-Von) Trish wins this one. Speculated Matches European Championship D'Lo Brown vs William Regal Regal, with help from Molly. Cruiserweight Championship The Hurricane vs Tajiri Hurricaine's Arch Nemesis shows up to give Taijiri the win.

Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Bulldog died. Anyways, this is the first PPV I won't be getting since WrestleMania 9. It's not even that Hogan vs Taker isn't going to be a good match, it's because there has been no build up to any of the matches. The only thing I kept tuning in for was Austin/Flair, which I think they already screwed up.
Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Announced Matches Undisputed WWE Championship Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker This has got to be Taker, there's no other way about it, Hogan just truly sucks Hell in a Cell Triple H vs. Chris Jericho This should be a good match provided HHH gets motivated, there's no question Jericho will go all out in this one. I'm pulling for Jericho to win because frankly if HHH wins they're not only burying one guy, it's not going to do anything for HHH. Hair vs. Hair Match Kurt Angle vs. Edge Edge, I just can't see Edge without hair. Also bets on Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake showing up? WWE Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero Eddie I reckon here to retain leading up to a gimmick match at KOTR. Handicap Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show I'd like to see Flair & Show win but somehow Austin will win, god can he not do the job to someone? Tag Match Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Lesnar will kill them all. I want to see out of this world Jeff Hardy get crushed by Lesnar's power. Oh and Heyman to not wear tights, just normal clothes will do fine. Tag Team Championship Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi and a partner to be named later I don't really care who is the partner, Billy & Chuck to retain to make one of the longest reigns for any of the belts in a long time. Women's Championship Trish Stratus (with Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (with Reverend D-Von) Trish wins because Stacy can't wrestle at all, we'll be straight back to T&A matches only again after getting so far. Speculated Matches European Championship D'Lo Brown vs William Regal Regal to retain because he rocks the most. Cruiserweight Championship The Hurricane vs Tajiri The Hurricane wins with his nemesis hopefully to make an appearance. Shannon Moore anyone?
Guest Anorak Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Hogan vs Taker Unless Taker comes down as the deadman i don't really care who wins it. I'll be hoping vainly for an entertaining crapfest rather than a deathly dull bore and a hot crowd would go a long way to it being bearable. Maybe after a few beers the match might seem better. If Taker's ever getting another title run i could imagine it happening here but i'm backing Hogan to limp forward to another PPV as champ. Winner: Hogan Triple H vs Jericho Could be match of the night quite easily if they can pull off something special, they have done it before but the WWF of 2000 seems a lifetime ago at the moment. There could be a semi big bump at one stage but doubtfully anything too severe as the injury situation is so bad. As usual i've got no faith in Triple H doing the job either and i'm going for him to win a long and probably unspectacular match. Winner: Triple H Edge vs Angle Edge's locks just define his persona and look so much i think it would be a real risk for him to lose. There's plenty of comedy potential to get out of a bald Angle as well. Edge to go over and continue his push at Angle's expense in what should be another good match between the two. Winner: Edge RVD vs Eddie Guerrero Last months match was very flat and dissapointing, when these two can't put on an entertaining match with at least some decent spots then something is wrong. RVD was awful and needs to pick it up this time to make it worth our while. I'm going for RVD to regain the title in a hopefully much improved effort from Backlash. Winner: RVD Austin vs Flair & Big Slow I only hope its short, that's honestly all i ask. Austin's been going through the motions for ages now and with booking like this can you really blame him? Austin really needs to do the job to keep the NWO storyline alive although common sense rarely figures these days. Winner: Flair & Big Slow Hardyz vs Lesnar & Heyman Heyman's choice of ring attire may well be the most entertaining aspect of this match. Hopefully Brock will win a basic handicap match and Heyman will finally generate a bit of heat for the both of them by being the annoying prick of old who nearly but not quite gets a beating because of Lesnar's overwhelming strength. Winner: Lesnar & Heyman Billy and Chuck vs Rikishi & Mystery Partner I'll probably have to wait and see who Rikishi's partner is before deciding who i want or who i think will win. Actually i'll just go for Billy & Chuck because i like Rico and dislike Rikishi(Rikishi & Rico? Nah). Once upon a time you would have put your house on a mystery wrestler emerging victorious but not anymore, they can carry on a feud for a while either way. Winners: Billy & Chuck Trish vs Stacy Stacy as champ would be as annoying as Stephanie a couple of years back. Stacy has no buisness actually wrestling and i can't stand the thought of her winning. We really didn't need a womans match on this show at all, at least a throwaway intergender tag match wouldn't ruin the what little credibility the title has struggled to achieve. I just hope Trish wins and stiffs Stacy a couple times in the process as a bonus. Winner: Trish Possible Matches: Regal over D'Lo (because Regal always goes over when he shouldn't or you don't expect him to) Hurricane over Tajiri (he only won it on Smackdown)

Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Undisputed WWE Championship Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker -Although I dislike the guy, I would much rather see Undertaker as champ then Hogan. Hell in a Cell Triple H vs. Chris Jericho -Hand-shaking Hug-throwing Has-been to show that he still IS sleeping with the bosses daughter. Hair vs. Hair Match Kurt Angle vs. Edge -Their last match kicked ass, hopefully this one does too. Lessee...since Angle has very little hair to shave off, and Edge's hair is almost his character (did that make sense?)....Edge to win it. WWE Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero -Raven said that Eddie Guerrerro invented the frog splash. I predict the goast of Art Barr comes out, Frog Splashes RVD, rolls Eddie onto him, lets Eddie retain, then hunts down Raven....Eddie to win. Handicap Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show -I don't care but...I dunno, Austin to join nWo? That's probably the way it's gonna go Tag Match Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman -KILL THE HARDY GIRLZ!!! KILL THEM, BROCK!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Tag Team Championship Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi and a partner to be named later -You would think BC & R would ENJOY how big Rikishi's ass is...oh well, I don't care who his partner is beause I'll be playing Halo. Ah well, Trish to retain, Bubba to cut all ties to D-Von by putting him through a table. Word. Speculated Matches European Championship D'Lo Brown vs William Regal -D'Lo Down is Gonna GO Down!...I meant that in a good way...like "It's going down tonight" and stuff...D'Lo, hopefully Cruiserweight Championship The Hurricane vs Tajiri -It's all a battle over who I mark for most...the guy based on my favorite comic book hero, The Green Lantern, or the crazy Japanese guy who berates his fine ass woman BECAUSE HE CAN!! Winner: Green Lantern

Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted May 19, 2002 Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker- Hogan wins. They need to take the belt off of him but Taker is not the man to do it. Triple H vs. Chris Jericho -While I think Trips will win, Jericho SHOULD win. I think Hogan wins the main so I'll go with Jericho. Kurt Angle vs. Edge-I think Angle wins simply because Edge needs a makeover. Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero- RVD gets his belt back. Eddy gets suspended or fired after showing up at the ppv drunk. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair & Big Show- Flair should win but Austin wins since it makes no sense for him to win. Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman- Lesnar wins. Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi and a partner to be named later- Rikishi's partner is going to be Rico. It's a swerve baby!!! BillyChuck win. Women's Championship Trish Stratus (with Bubba Ray Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (with Reverend D-Von) -Trish wins because Stacy cannot wrestle. Period.
