Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2002 In memory of the British Bulldog, I think we should all share our fondest Bulldog memories from history, more specifically his finest matches BEFORE 1998, as any time from there on was a slap in the face towards the Bulldog and his reputation by CRAP bookers in WC FUCK YOU W. Before 1998, Bulldog had some fine outings, but which do you hold closest to you as a fond memory or what you consider just a damn good match? Bulldog WAS Old School...i was brought up on Old School...and it saddens to me to know the class of Old School High just lost another student... Rest in peace, Davey, Thanks for making me smile! He didn't play a big part, but that's still one of my all time favorite matches. RIP Davey Yes, Davey passed away due to heart complications last night... I have yet to see that 10-Man Tag, and i hear i HAVE to see it...which means im gonna buy that peice of work sometime soon! The best Bulldog outings IMO were with Shawn Michaels, i ALWAYS ( and no, im not just saying this cause the guy passed away ) cheered for the Bulldog, some of you may have seen in earlier posts where i have expressed my disgust for Shawn Michaels, being a huge Hitman fan, i never really liked HBK. All of Bulldog's In Your House outings with Shawn were really something to marvel at, and i was always very angry when Shawn would beat him... Its a pity he never won that grand slam... I didn't watch wrestling during Davey's first WWF run, but I was a big fan when he returned in late 99...too bad he was past his prime. Once again, RIP. My sentiments EXACTLY, i feel that Vince owes Bulldog at LEAST a small video tribute at the beginning of Raw, not just the usual WWE.com "Bulldog's gone, we wish him well, now lets forget about it" headline post. As the biggest Bulldog mark of the forum I'd thought list some great DBS matches that people should check out- WM2 Bulldogs v. Dream Team Bulldog wins first ever WWF tag title WM3 Bulldogs/Chico v. Harts/Danny Davis Sure the Bulldogs job but seeing Danny just get killed is true joy. Summerslam 88- Rougeaus v. Bulldogs Really good match here- last time Bulldogs teamed together on PPV. (Save for SurS88) Royal Rumble 92- Bulldog and Flair do some great stuff. Poor Bulldog's balls. Summerslam 92- No explanation necessary. Superbrawl 3- Bulldog v. Bill Irwin DBS debuts in WCW. I haven't seen the wcw shows he main evented so skip to- Halloween Havoc 93- Bulldog v. Regal My two gods face off. Slamfest 95 and Wam Bam Bodyslam feature a Bret/DBS v. Anvil/Owen match that kicks major ass. Slamfest is clipped. I'd recommend RR95 but I cant watch it without crying In Your House 5- Bulldog v. Bret Bret bleeds a gusher and these two wrestle an awesome match. Wrestlefest 96 (Beware of Dog), KOTR96- Bulldog v. HBK Bulldog and HBK had a hot feud about Diana and had two great matches to boot. Bulldog got screwed at BOD. Survivor Series 96- Bulldog, Owen, Rockers v. Godwinns, Furnas and LaFon Pretty bitching tag match. Canadian Stampede- Canada v. USA Hard to watch now but still a CLASSIC match. Badd BLood 97 Bret/DBS v. Vader/Patriot A fun match that also includes DBS beating up a fan. Unforgiven 99- HHH v. Show v. Kane v. Rock v. Bulldog v. Foley A great match overall- last show DBS ever main evented. and finally- Sunday Night Heat ? 2000- Bulldog v. Eddy His last televised WWF match. RIP Davey. HHH for the belt with ThE Rock as the ref. Bulldog goes for the pin and Rock goes" 1..2..It doesn't matter if the Rock counts to 3." I was so pissed because I wanted Bulldog to get the belt. Other Bulldog memories: Summer Slam '92 match w/ Bret European Title Final w/ Owen in '97 Him jumping the Cage at Summer Slam' 94 to help Bret from Owen and Neidhart Bulldog and Owen's reign at tag champs The Wild Card match from Survivor Series '95 any Bulldog v.
