I think that Yoda and Dooku should have stuck with a lightning battle instead of lightsabers.

Well, lightening seems to be used solely by the dark-side practitioners, so I doubt Yoda would resort to that.  I'm sure he knows *how* to do it, but would probably be reluctant to do so.

I don't think that the lightning is a matter of *knowing* how to do it as much as it being a byproduct of focusing dark side energy.

If Christensen was as bad in another movie as he was in Episode 2, you have to wonder who the fuck is casting these movies. I always assumed the kid in Episode 1 was given his role as Anakin as a favor to someone.

 

I didn't like the assembly line scene too much. I don't watch movies and try to pick out details, but when Padme was about to have the molten liquid poured on her, I could have sworn that she was in the third container. I saw liquid poured into two containers and assumed she would be next. When it looked like it was her turn, another two containers were filled up. I realize that she wasn't going o die, but at least fool me a little bit. When I saw Spiderman, I thought he was going to bite the dust when the Green Goblin threw the pumpkin bomb at him in the burning building. I even thought Mary Jane might die at the end of the movie. A good movie will allow you to suspend your disbelief.
