Undertaker vs. Crush would be death to anyone who watches it, but I suppose it's better than Sid vs. UT in a 20 minute main event...

What's with Savio vs. Miguel?  I say they are just two more for the battle royal...

Hunter should go over Rocky for the IC title.  It's better than Rocky vs. The Sultan.

The six man tag is a bad idea.  Just have Pillman vs. Flash Funk.  Put the others in the underdog battle royal.

The jobber battle royal should be renamed The Underdog Battle Royal, or something that doesn't make them seem as worthless as they are.

Yoko's farewell match vs. Vader?  I'm guessing Yoko will go over, which does nothing but hurt Vader's credibility as a monster.

Why not have a face team of Furnas & LaFon going against Owen & Davey?  It would produce a much better match. Then LOD beats Godwinns to become #1 contenders for next month's PPV.

Yoko vs. Sultan would BLOW, but then again its better than wasting Vader in the jobbing role.

LOD vs. Vader & Mankind wouldn't be great technically  but I think it'd be fun to watch.

Taker vs. Crush will still suck, but w/ the right buildup, making it a casket match might make a few more people want to see it.

Billy vs. Bart would suck, but its the big blowoff after the breakup, so it;s gotta happen.  As much as I hate Billy Gunn, he needs to go over in that match.

Everything else looks amazing, but I'm still wondering why you have Savio vs. Miguel.

OK, here's why I booked Savio vs. Miguel. Back in early March 97, Miguel came to the WWF to turn his old best friend away from the nation. Savio refused and he and the entire nation of domination attacked Miguel. Miguel challenged Savio to a match but Miguel won by countout. And, this was ofcourse before Los Boricuas.

After a month or so of planning, its time for the PPV results.

You all probably read the card, so IT'S SHOW TIME!!!

The show begins with a big montage about some of the storylines in the big few matches of the nigh: Sid/Shawn, Hart/Austin, Faarooq/Johnson, Crush/Taker. Then, we go live to the Super Dome in New Orleans for the biggest show of the year!!! We get a word or two from J.R. and the King, then the show is ready to begin.

Flash Funk -vs- Brian Pillman(Pillman's Debute)

Funk comes down first to a good pop because he's the first guy out and they know this is Pillman's debute. Pillman comes down to an amazing pop and starts going at Flash from the start. Its an amazing match with the high flying stuff from Flash, and the technical wrestling of Pillman. About 12 minutes in, Pillman gets him in a choke hold like Nailz used to do and has Flash in it for about a minute. Flash is unconscious but wins by DQ in 12:19.

Legion of Doom -vs- Vader, Mankind

Next, the Legion of Doom come out to a good pop for their tag match against Vader/Mankind. Vader and Mankind come out next to big heat from the huge crowd. Pretty sucky match all around but it was pretty cool to see LOD back on WWF PPV. LOD won in 6:58 after a Dooms Day Device on Mankind and Hawk pinned Mankind for the win.

Miguel Perez Jr. -vs- Savio Vega

Next was Miguel perez jr. against Savio vega. Savio came out to mild heat and Perez jr. came out to absolutely no reaction. Crowd wasn't into it at all. Miguel was getting huge blows and brawler kinds of stuff on Savio till Vega decided to just walk out and get counted out in 4:51.

Casket Match:Undertaker -vs- Crush w/ Paul Bearer

Next was 1 of the 4 big matches. The casket was wheeled out to ringside for the UT/Vrush encounter. They show a package of how Crush joined Paul Bearer at IYH the month before and helped Vader destroy the UT and lay him out and the druids came out and carried the UT back. Bearer and Crush cut a big promo of how they destroyed the taker at the PPV and he would never ride again. Then, the lights dim, the druids bring out a casket, and lightning strikes and the taker pops out. He challenges Crush to a casket match at Wrestle Mania 13 for one more show down. Crush then hit the UT with a chair, does a heart punch and locks him back in the casket. This will be the first time we see the Taker in over a month and he is seeking revenge. Crush comes out first with Bearer to his old music he had when he was the Crush with mr. Fuji and he stands on the casket and gives the finger to the crowd. The lights dim, and the druid come down and make 2 lines and light one big fire with torches and it looks really cool. The Taker then comes down to a HUGE pop. The battle goes on for about 12 matches with the spots where Taker is put in the casket but rises at the last minute. Taker blocks the heart punch, puts on the choke slam, tombstone rolls him in the casket, Choke slams Bearer, puts him in the casket too, shuts the lid and end of match in 16:09.

Thats part 1 of 3 of the PPV. Expect part 2 of 3 within a day.

Part 2

Yokozuna's Farewell Match:Yokozuna -vs- the Sultan

Sultan comes down first to no reaction with Mr. Bob backlund and The Iron Sheik. Yoko comes down next with Mr. Fuji to an awesome pop because they know this is his final match. This match looks bad on paper and is even worse in the ring. Yoko just dominates the entire match, then hits the Banzai Drop for the win in 3:09.

Brother -vs- Brother: Billy Gunn -vs- Bart Gunn

Both men and the match got no reaction. The match ended a double cpunt-out in 7:55.

For the I.C. Championship:Rocky Maivia -vs- Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Next is the first title match of the night. It is Rocky Maivia against Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Back then, this match meant nothing. Today, these guys are two huge superstars with shortened versions of those names. Rocky dominated most of the match then Hunter hit a pedigree out of nowhere for the win and the title in 14:28.

Hell Frozen Over Match: Bret Hart -vs- Stone Cold Steve Austin

Big Match number 2 is up next. It is possibally the biggest most hyped match of the evening. It is a Hell Frozen Over Match(Last Man Standing Match) between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Match goes on for quite some time, but neither man gives up. Bret has him in a sharpshooter for about 3 minutes but Austin wont stay down. He gives him chair shot after chair shot. but Austin just wont stay down. Suddendly, the crowd starts cheering for Austin. Bret abuses him more and the crowd boos the Hitman. Austin hit a stone cold stunenr. Bret doesnt stay down. He hits 2 more. Bret dosnt stay down. He hits one on a chair. Bret Wont stay down. Austin grabs a sledge hammer, and he hits Bret with it. He puts Bret in the sharp shooter and the fans love it. After about 6 minutes, Bret finally can't take it anymore, and he passes out. Austin wins this true classic in 37:01.

Thats part 2 of 3, part 3 will be out tomorrow morning.

Bret/Austin was great. I like how Austin went over, and the match was great. Glad Yoko got a formal farewell match. Pillman's debut was well done. I'm not so sure about LOD being used again, let alone going over Mankind and Vader.

But, all in all, great show so far. Can't wait for part 3!

And now....PART 3!!!!

Fans are still overwhelmed from the Hell Frozen Over Match and really dont have enough energy but the show must go on. 4 matches left, heres the first. It's the second title match of the evening.

For the Tag Team Championship: Owen/Bulldog -vs- Furnas/Lafon

High action match with lots of quality through it. About 14 minutes in, the ref takes a bump and is knocked out. Owen has Lafon in the sharp shooter, but Furnas comes from behind and hits Owen with his slammy, Bulldog comes in, he gets the slammy as well. Furnas covers Owen for the 1-2-3 and the titles in 9:57.

Next is big match #3. It is a Street Fight.

Street Fight: Ahmed Johnson -vs- Faarooq

Faarooq comes down first with his entire Nation of Domination to major heel heat. He says Ahmed just won't fight against him, but he must figh the entire Nation as well. Ahmed comes down with the 2x4, but goes back, brings out a wheel barrel of stuff, including a kitchen sink. He isn't wearing his regular wrestling attire, he is wearing ripped up blue jeans. He runs down, and takes out everyone with the 2x4, and takes them through out the ringside area destroying them, but Faarooq comes from behind with a bat and attacks Ahmed with it. The rest of the Nation runs away and the match is now 1-on-1. They start it off immediately and Ahmed is destroying Faarooq with everything in his wheel barrel of doom. He hits a spine buster into the wheel barrel and then hits the Pearl River Plunge for the win in 5:50.

And now...the moment you've all been waiting for, the Underdog Battle Royal!!!

25-man "Underdog" Battle Royal

BlackJack Windham, BlackJack Bradshaw, Mosh, Thrasher, Barry Horowitz, Who, Alex Porteau, Aldo Montoya, Fake Razor Ramon, Fake Diesel, Brooklyn Brawler, The Goon,TL Hopper, Leif Cassidy, Marty Janetty, Fredde Joe Floyd, Butchwacker Luke, Butchwacker Butch, Mr. X, Salvatore Sincere, Bob Holly, Goldust, Jason Grimm, Jared Grimm, Double J Jesse James

Bodies go flying everywhere after the bell and immediately. Within 6 minutes, 6 men are still in it: Aldo Montoya, Fake Diesel, Goldust, The Brooklyn Brawler, Barry Horowitz, and the Goon. Not soon after, Horowitz goes flying, Montoya is sent over by the Fake Diesel, the goon is sent over by the fake diesel. Fake Diesel also eliminates Goldust, but the Brawler comes from behind to put Fake Diesel over the ropes for his first win in his first wrestle mania match in 6:42.

The Main Event: Sid -vs- Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship is next, but that is so intense, it must wait for aonther post.
