Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted May 20, 2002 which isn't saying much. I'm not refering to the taliban and Al queada though, i'm refering to the whole Yassar Arafat situation a while ago. Of course my feelings that Bush is an idiot probaly steem from the fact that he doesn't know the name of Canada's Prime Minister. (Ever see the Show "Talking To Americans" on CBC and you'd know the incident i'm refering to)
Guest Report post Posted May 20, 2002 Well... most American's don't care about the prime minster of Canada. I live 40 miles south of BC and I don't know who it is and we get a crap load of Canadian channels here.

Guest Report post Posted May 21, 2002 yes but he's your leader and he doesn't know the name of his country's biggest trading partner! That's fucked up, when my Commander-in-Chief doesen't know the name of our country's biggest partner. In 2004, it will be my first election, I will vote for somebody just to kick his ass out of office.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Good luck ML, Bush isn't going anywhere until 2008. CWM, I'm a Poli SCi major and I don't know the Canaidian PM's name. He's some French Socialist, right? BTW, no offense but Bush has more pressing matters than the dealing with our neighbors to the north right now. I don't like how Bush keeps flip-flopping on his stance with Arafat (the guy is a fucking terrorist and should be put down. I bet if you asked the President in private he would say the same) buy at the same time he has to play the political games with "world opinion" and all that other bullshit. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted May 21, 2002 This happened BEFORE september 11. this was during ush's bid to be elected. He was Asked what he thought of Canadian Prime Minister Poutine (french word for chicken) and he said he was a great man and a great leader without ANY sign he knew that the name was wrong. and than the tv show got him to send his warmest regards to Prime Minister Poutine!!! and yes Sg he's a french socialist. Guest Some Guy Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Well why the hell should Bush care about a Frecnh Socialist? The guy has nothing important to say. Bush is probably content to let the guy run a nice country like Canda into the ground with his backwards policies.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 21, 2002 *points to the topic* Ahem, now... I'll like to add any stinging insects/archainds (sp), too. And getting really fat... I have a fear of that.

Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted May 21, 2002 well Canadian players will STILL be dominating the game, so who cares?
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted May 21, 2002 well Canadian players will STILL be dominating the game, so who cares? Exactly, who cares? Canada is a fine country with weather so cold I'm amazed that they don't have thousands of people freezing to death every day in January. I've been there 3 times and liked it, the drinking age in Halifax is only 19 so I was able to legally drink the last 2 times, I still have another freaking month before I can do that in America. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted May 22, 2002 it's not THAT cold. and the drinking age is 19 in ALL of canda, so that IS a plus.
Guest caboose Report post Posted May 22, 2002 Rule Britannia. Drinking is legal to Over 18's in public places, and privately drinking is legal from the age of 10(yes that's right, hell it used to be 7). And within the next two years, cannabis will legal. Rule Britannia. Hold on, I'm moving to Canada before i turn 19. D'OH!

Guest Kinetic Report post Posted May 22, 2002 In light of the last few posts, let me just say that rumors of America's status as "the greatest country on Earth" have been greatly exaggerated.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 22, 2002 When I was younger I used to be terrified of E.T.: the Extraterrestrial, and although I'm not afraid anymore (seriously, I would break down and cry and my blood would run cold) I'm still a little uneasy. The same goes for aliens in general, I really screwed myself over as a little kid I was in to all this paranormal alien conspiracy crap and it's literally scarred me for life, well at least my life so far. At least I'm not afraid to leave my house... OK, not afraid to leave my house in the daytime... OK, not afraid to leave my house in the daytime with my puppy for protection! Actually right now, although I wouldn't exactly call it fear, I'd like to say my own apathy is really starting to bother me. I'm afraid of being alone, but ironically I care for nobody and subconsciously reject everyone that wants to get close to me. Yes, Virginia, your friendly neighborhood DVD reviewer really IS a little messed up in the head.

Guest caboose Report post Posted May 22, 2002 The best place on Earth is Amsterdam in the Netherlands. While the legal prostitution is actually quite annoying, they fucking wake you up in the middle of the night in your hotel by knocking on the door offering you their services. The rest is gold, back in February I was sat in an Internet Cafe playing Counterstrike on broadband connection, while Stoned. The only way it could have mean better is if Jessica Alba was stood there naked doing stuff. Dutch green is the best in Europe. But the only thing I'm scared of is no longer getting free WWF PPV's when I move to Canada. I simply can't go on without my 3 hour hit of absoloute shit on a sunday night once a month. I can't be fucked with fake ID's, I look about 30 though with my beard, will that do?

Guest J*ingus Report post Posted May 22, 2002 "they fucking wake you up in the middle of the night in your hotel by knocking on the door offering you their services." I guess that could start to bug me... but it'd take a while. "Dutch green is the best in Europe." Enjoy it while you can, the North American stuff seems to often consist of dirt, twigs, and toilet paper. "But the only thing I'm scared of is no longer getting free WWF PPV's when I move to Canada. I simply can't go on without my 3 hour hit of absoloute shit on a sunday night once a month." We've been paying for it for the past FIFTEEN YEARS, ya fuckin pussy. Buy a black box like the rest of us. "I can't be fucked with fake ID's, I look about 30 though with my beard, will that do?" In the US, lots of owners would card you anyway just to fuck with people. I don't know how it is in Canada, though.
