Wrestling Training Arrives!

In Plaistow, East London

RBW have today announced the opening of a brand new training facility in Plaistow, East London which is the new home for the RBW London Training Centre, which moves from the present home of Enfield, London/Middlesex.

The new centre features a huge increase in size, with a far larger hall being devoted to training, with full matting and several crash mats. The new venue also offers the possibility of monthly in-ring training sessions which was not a possibility at the previous venue. Additionally, the new venue makes transportation far easier, with a wide amount of public transport options available for trainees to reach the centre.

Expert training will not decrease, with all of the current London trainers making the move as well, as well as the prospect of guest trainers on a regular basis.

The new centre also marks a change of the training day, which moves from each Sunday to each Saturday instead, opening on Saturday 16th July, with the last session in Enfield this week, on Sunday 10th July.

Standard Wrestling - Being a British-based organisation, our training is based upon the British wrestling style that you see at our live events. As a new trainee, you will be shown the basics of these, and once you have learnt them, you will be moved on to more advanced forms of training.

Amateur/Olympic Wrestling - Several of our trainers have a large amount of experience in amateur/Olympic style competitions, and practice of the various techniques and methods, on a near-weekly basis, helps increase both physical and mental toughness.

Ring Training - In-ring wrestling training is available on a monthly basis, either at the training venue itself, or on the afternoons of one of our nearby live wrestling events. This is only open to trainees who attend the regular training sessions, and is an essential part of your wrestling teaching.

New Training Payment Options

All London training sessions now come with two payment options, Single or Monthly.

Single payments are how training has always been ran for the last two years, with a pay-as-you go system being operated, where you only pay for the sessions you attend. This is currently £8.00 for three hours on the Saturday sessions, and £4.00 for the special advanced hour after the main session.

We are now in the position to offer trainees the opportunity to pay for a month in advance, which sees a substantial saving being made overall.

The monthly payment option is as follows:

Monthly (on a four-week basis)

Regular Training - £25.00 (a saving of £7.00)

Regular Training w/Advanced Hour - £40.00 (a saving of £8.00)

If you are interested in taking advantage of this new option, please inform a member of staff at training, who will be able to arrange this with you.

Newham Sports Event Success

This past Saturday's promotional event at the Town Show in East Ham, Newham was a successful occasion.

The event, organised as part of Newham's successful bid to hold the Olympic games in 2012, was attended by hundreds, if not thousands, of people.

RBW's involvement saw an exhibition of wrestling, involving some of the trainees of the RBW London Training Centre, which moves from the original venue of Enfield (in North London/Middlesex) to Plaistow, which is part of Newham, this Saturday.

We would like to thank everyone who helped out on the day, and we hope to see some new faces at training at the first session this Saturday!

Transport Update For Saturday's Plaistow, East London Wrestling Training

With last week's terrorism attacks in London, line closures have been made to various parts of the London Underground network, which may affect your journey.

The Hammersmith & City line will not be operating to Plaistow Underground Station, which means that the station will only be served by the District Line. We recommend that you use either West Ham or Stratford station if you are not travelling on the District Line, as many other services will be running as normal to these stations.

An informative travel guide on how to reach training can be found on our website at http://www.revolutionbritishwrestling.co.u...laistowlocation .

We hope to see you there!
