Guest Adam Gard Report post Posted July 13, 2005 Saturday 23rd July 2005 Ryan Hall, Chingford, London Live British Wrestling The Ryan Hall in Chingford, North-East London sees live British wrestling action return once again this July. This event marks a year since the memorable clash between Sammy Ray and "The Gift" Ross Jordan, which saw special guest referee "Flying" (now "Filthy") Phil Powers aid Jordan's victory in perhaps one of the most controversial moments of the year. Still remaining as practically the only venue in the North of London to see British wrestling on a regular basis, since the start of events there in March 2004. Now in July 2005, a total of seven events have already taken place, with the eighth set to take place on Saturday 23rd July. The last show in June saw a number of surprises. Firstly former WWE wrestler and star of ITV's Celebrity Wrestling, D'Lo Brown, came to make a special appearance to meet and greet the fans, and secondly America's reigning NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, "Boston Bad Boy" Jason Rumble, had a surprise special challenge match at the end of the event. July's show sees another interesting line-up, including the first appearance of Scotland's mammoth "Highlander" Drew McDonald and also young rookie Jason Sensation. Confirmed for the show are the following bouts: "Highlander" Drew McDonald vs Eamon O'Neil One of the most fearsome wrestlers, not just in the UK, but in the world, "Highlander" Drew McDonald steps into the ring for the first time in RBW in what should be a very memorable contest. McDonald has wrestled internationally for over twenty years and has wrestled all the top names of wrestling from all over the world, and more often than not, has always been found on the winning side. There is always a shortage of wrestlers wanting to face McDonald, who holds a clear size advantage over almost every opponent, but one man who is clearly not intimidated is the "Celtic Warrior" Eamon O'Neil, who is more than happy to provide opposition for McDonald in this contest. Despite McDonald's size advantage, O'Neil is not a small wrestler, and is more than powerful himself. With a fascinating balance of wrestling ability between both grapplers, this contest promises to be an intense and heated battle. Guest Adam Gard Report post Posted July 15, 2005 Statement From Tino Caesar RBW newcomer "Made Man" Tino Caesar has posted a very controversial statement on the official RBW forums, calling out middleweight campaigner Andy Boy Simmonz. Tino had this to say: "So, here I am looking at the line up for the Chingford show on July 23rd and I'm amazed at the total lack of talent on that roster... Well, aside from yours truly of course. The only other person I would rate as high as myself would be my fellow American, Tex Benedict. July 23rd 2005, mark it down, this is a date to remember. This date marks the beginning of a new AMERICAN REVOLUTION. "The Made Man" "The Untouchable One" Tino Ceasar starts his date with destiny and his quest for gold, and that quest starts with... ANDY BOY SIMMONZ I'M CALLING YOU OUT ANDY BOY! I've sat back for too long. It's time to see what being "Made" is all about. " RBW are speaking to Andy Boy Simmonz who is likely to make a response to Tino very shortly.
Guest Adam Gard Report post Posted July 18, 2005 Andy Boy Simmonz Accepts! The challenge laid down by rookie newcomer, 'The Made Man' Tino Caesar, recently to Andy Boy Simmonz has been responded to. Simmonz has read what Caesar has had to say about him, and is more than happy to meet him in the ring at the upcoming Chingford event on Saturday 23rd July. Tino Caesar, originally hailing from New York in the United States of America, but now living in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, has only so far wrestled on one occasion, yet is more than confident of his ability. With a strong background in amateur (Olympic) wrestling, Caesar had a head start on his career, and his recent coaching in the UK has turned him into one of the most exciting prospects for the future. RBW officials have accepted this contest, and Andy Boy Simmonz vs "The Made Man" Tino Caesar has been added to the line-up for this event.
