Guest Report post Posted May 20, 2002 Judgment Day has come and gone, and what a night it was! Undertaker is the new Undisputed WWE Champion, after defeating Hollywood Hulk Hogan on Sunday night. Tonight on TNN, the Dead Man returns to RAW as the champion, meaning that he is the judge, jury and executioner. What will the new champion have to say? And what will Hogan do now that he is a former champion? Also at Judgment Day, RAW owner Ric Flair teamed with Big Show to take on Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Handicap Match. But the numbers game didn't work out too well for the Nature Boy, as Stone Cold emerged victorious. Will Flair be looking for revenge on RAW? What will happen if he and Austin cross paths again? Find out on RAW! Three matches have been announced for tonight's show so far. WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus will defend her title against Jacqueline, while WWE European Champion William Regal defends against Bubba Ray Dudley. I see the beginning of the Raw, UT comes out.. gloats how he is champ.. beat Hogan, blah, blah, blah.. gets interupted by someone... a match between that person and UT. At least that's my opinion. You know the Hardys will get squashed by the Big Show.The last Hardy's win I remember was Matt going over Mr. Perfect. Which shows you how low Perfect really was. Does anyone else REALLY REALLY want Taker to drop the title to some one new tonight? I mean...even RVD haters kind of have to see that as better than Hogan and Taker on top. And no one wants Austin vs. Taker again. RVD gets good matches out of Taker...even though he can't win it...wouldn't a Taker vs. RVD title match where it looks like RVD will win at some point be more exciting than anything on WWE tv in a LONG LONG time? I mean, it would be fresh, he has yet to hold the WWE title, and he proved in WCW that he makes a good leader for the company. At least, in my eyes he does. He seems to be over with the fans (even if it is just because of comedic performances). Booker T. Vs. Edge Booker T. Vs. Chris Jericho Booker T. Vs. Kurt Angle Booker T. Vs. Chris Benoit (when healthy) Booker T. Vs. Rob Van Dam He could possibly even get some good matches out of the old, bored or lazy. In example: Booker T. Vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Booker T. Vs. The Undertaker (it could be better this time). Booker T. Vs. Triple H Of course, it's not going to happen, but a man can dream can't he? While I'm dreaming, let's go ahead and push Christian to the upper mid-card & Lance Storm to main event status. Also, if the WWE still insists on using Hulk Hogan, he can feud with The Giant in a remake of Wrestlemania 3, only this time it wouldn't be the last match on the PPV. Seriously, Goldust may be just an average wrestler, but he's always been one of my favorite characters. I just recently saw an overview of some of his promos against the "homophobic" Razor Ramon, and although I usually defend gay rights to the best of my ability and as such admit they weren't exactly totally tasteful, they were great promos Goldust believably got under Ramon's skin. He should be at least a tweener right now. I'm banning RAW for a month and doing more productive things with my time. Too much XPac, Big Show, Bradshaw, Undertaker, and Hogan there and it's making me sick. I can't believe they're wasting a feud between Steve Austin and FREAKIN' Ric Flair. If only the WWF would use history in its storytelling it would make shit a lot more interesting. I'll just find out what happens here and on Smackdown. When's Benoit coming back? Guest Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Unfortunately, I don't ever see this happening, as they'd never give a Raw match 20 minutes, but I think this would be awesome and really establish RVD as a top guy. Somehow, he has earned a title shot against UT on Raw(insert your own story here)and they have gone 19+ minutes with both getting close 2-count falls on the other throughout the match. UT kicked out of all of RVD's other moves except for the frog splash which RVD missed the one time he tried it. RVD has kicked out of ALL of UT's moves including the chokeslam, tombstone, and last ride. As I said, we're over the 19 minute mark and RVD finally hits the 5 star on UT. He covers, but the ref rings the bell. RVD and many fans think he has won, but it is announced that the time limit expired.
