Guest Doomsault Posted June 29, 2002 Report Posted June 29, 2002 28.8, I'm watching the grass grow waiting for this page to load.
Guest jtronx Posted June 29, 2002 Report Posted June 29, 2002 DSL; I live in a big communal house and it works out to about $7 per roommate per month, we just router it off to everyone's system and it's fast as heck...
Guest NoCalMike Posted July 1, 2002 Report Posted July 1, 2002 At home I have a 56k. I am not sure about everyone else, but 56k works just fine if I am just surfing the web. It just sucks for downloading mp3s and "other stuff" At work there is a LANline...which is about the fastest thing you can have. Basically, the second you click a link the page is already there and loaded. It is great for having to fast and sneaky at work to check scores or something.
Guest Spicy McHaggis Posted July 1, 2002 Report Posted July 1, 2002 56K, and I'm hating every second of it. Same here... but I've never known DSL. Ignorance is bliss, I guess...
Guest papacita Posted July 2, 2002 Report Posted July 2, 2002 I've got DSL! Before that, I had slow ass 56K
Guest Razor Roman Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 I work in IT at a college and we have 5 T1 lines... it FLIES in the summer time when the students aren't here leaving AIM on all day and all night... so much bandwith usage that they blocked all P2P programs. Damnit. But we're getting a T3 by the end of the summer. Woo-hoo!
