Last week it was funny, now it's just sad.  It's sad that this man, who was once the top guy in the #3 company in the country, has to do such stupid shit like eat hair and garbage in order to get a reaction.  I mean, that hair can stay in his system for sometime, and I'm sure poisoning wouldn't be too far off.  Flaming chairs and flaming tables I can take, but that shit he's been doing is just brutal.

I'm sure Tommy would do anything for tv time though...and I was brainwashed on ECW for years and am a huge Dreamer fan, so I'm glad he's getting time on tv. I just hope this doesn't turn into another GTV, something they start up and just go nowhere with.

Dreamer might not be a technical wizard like Benoit, or a bump machine like RVD, but the guy loves the business and his heart shows in the ring. Doesn't he deserve some respect from us because he is basically one of us? A mark who loves wrestling and gives his all when he is in the ring, addicted to popping a crowd. The only difference is we are armchair wrestlers, rather then risking our bodies. Personally I feel bad for the guy because he has to earn his living at this point by eating hair and drinking toilet water and generally making an ass out of himself. Is anyone actually entertained by this horseshit? Wouldn't you be more entertained by seeing him step in the ring and actually wrestle? When did this "sport" we love cease having anything to do with the in ring combat?

when did you first figure that out?  WWE hasn't been about wrestling for quite some time now.

I'd be more entertained with a guy in the ring who didn't totally suck in the ring, to be perfectly honest.

Even after people started leaving left and right, or when RVD left with an injury, I can't recall a single moment when Dreamer was the #1 guy in ECW.

 

And unless the end-result of the vignettes has any impact in the ring, I think it's useless for him to be doing stuff like this.

Tommy came up with an idea it got him on Tv will it make him a big draw no even though some people might find him eating weird stuff to be interesting even comical it really doesn't add to his character any and it doesn't add to his in ring proformance i think in the end it will just make people think of him as more of a joke and not respect his matches if he ever has them

You are completely insane. Heck, you could argue that Credible's reign killed ECW. The dropped ratings so low TNN got out of their national deal with ECW.

 

They dropped because Justin was a crap draw at the top of the card.

 

That---and the shows DID tend to suck.

I meant ECW main eventers, I thought that was pretty clear. And the Dudley Boyz have main evented tv shows and even a ppv in the WWF, and Corino main evented ppvs for ECW. And I mentioned CW after the fact, I would have had him listed with the others if I meant to put him with that level of ECW worker, it was just an example of Tommy's willingness to get someone over at his expense.

 

And ECW was going to die with or without Justin as champ, TNN did not and still does not know how to promote wrestling, WWF is good enough at promoting themselves that they don't have to fall back on TNN like ECW did. ECW had lost too much talent and the shows were just not good...but everyone on the board more or less blames it 100% on Justin instead of maybe realizing that their beloved Paul E's genius just wasn't what it use to be...Paul E is ultimatly responsible for ECW's downfall.
