pochorenella 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2005 Just read on newsarama.com that legendary penciller Jim Aparo was reported dead on Tuesday Morning, July 19, 2005. Mr. Aparo was 72 and died from complications relating to a recent illness. All Funeral arrangements will be a private ceremony for Family and Friends of Jim. Really sad news to me, as Aparo was one of my very early favorites, having come to love his work on several Batman titles, specially The Brave and The Bold. He also was artist for Batman in the "Death in the Family" issues were Jason Todd "died" with the fans vote, and also the famous "KnightFall" storyline were Bane broke Batman's back and Azrael had to replace him. R.I.P, Jim.
