Live British Wrestling

Live wrestling comes to Plaistow, East London, for the first time, this coming Saturday.

Replacing this month's Chingford event, RBW have bought this event to Plaistow in connection with the new RBW London Training Centre which is also ran from the same venue in Plaistow.

Plans are for regular events to be ran following this show, similar to how events are on a monthly basis in Chingford, North London, which is good news for grapple fans, who now have an even wider availability to catch live wrestling in the London area.

The line-up for this event stars the British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano, arrogant Americans Tex Benedict & "The Made" Man Tino Caesar, "Celtic Warrior" Eamon O'Neil, Andy Boy Simmonz and others.

Confirmed for the show are the following bouts:

"Misfit" Jorge Castano vs Shabazz

"Misfit" Jorge Castano, the current British Middleweight Champion, fresh off from an extended overseas trip, looks set to get back into the swing of things at this event. Castano was last see in Finchley, London in March, where he drew against British Welterweight Champion, Kid Regis, in an exciting bout.

Shabazz will also be making a welcome return, with a year-long absence from the RBW ring behind him. Shabazz, known for his use of martial arts in the ring, could be a very different opponent for Castano to face, with his style considered quite unique and unpredictable.

The Championship is not on the line in this contest due to Shabazz's weight being higher than the middleweight limit. The two have met once before in Stamford, Lincolnshire, where Castano managed to pick up the victory, but not an easy one. Will this bout have the same outcome, or can Shabazz use his unpredictable style to pull out an upset?

Andy Boy Simmonz vs "The Made Man" Tino Caesar

RBW newcomer Tino Caesar, formerly of New York in the USA, made a shock challenge, live on the RBW website, towards Andy Boy Simmonz for this contest.

Despite competing only once prior to this bout, Tino is very confident that his intensive training and Olympic wrestling background will be enough to defeat Simmonz.

Andy Simmonz, never known to back down from an opponent, is more than happy to take on Caesar, and hopefully end Caesar's arrogant confidence that is already not impressing anyone other than himself.

Benedict is the likely favourite in this bout, but he shouldn't underestimate Sensation, who may well have some tricks up his sleeve.

Tex Benedict vs Jason Sensation

Direct from London, Arizona, USA, Tex Benedict is another wrestler who has not proved to be popular since his RBW debut back in December 2003.

A newcomer to Plaistow, Benedict competed here in February, managing to overcome Neil Faith, an internationally-travelled wrestler, in what was considered to be an upset with Faith holding a significant size advantage over him.

Tonight he meets young up and comer, Jason Sensation. Sensation, from the nearby town of Barking, has trained at the RBW London Training Centre for over a year, and has competed elsewhere in recent months, making a very good showing for himself.

"The Bulldozer" Carl Clinton vs "Celtic Warrior" Eamon O'Neil

"The Bulldozer" is widely tipped to be one of the next top heavyweights that has emerged on the scene. A graduate of the RBW London Training Centre, Clinton has wrestled extensively this year on the holiday camp circuit around the country, leaving a string of helpless opponents, who with the help of his size, has managed to dominate and consequently defeat.

Not wanting to stop any time soon, Clinton now looks forward to taking on Ireland's "Celtic Warrior" Eamon O'Neil.

O'Neil is one of the most impressive wrestlers gracing the ring, and his height and physique make him a tough challenger for any opponent.

This contest could go either way, will "The Bulldozer" continue his path of destruction, or will the popular Irishman manage to add another credible victory to his career history?
