Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2005 Zyon did the first 3000 or so, I can't remember exactly, and I took it from there. Zyon, I did edit some stuff, but with the exception of an added pinfall, it was only wording and commentary, nothing to do with the actual wrestling... just warning you. ------- “Folks, welcome back to the first of possibly many family friendly Lockdowns,” Pete continues, “and starting us off tonight is a tag team match involving three singles wrestlers and a man missing his regular tag partner.” “That’s right, apple eater…” King starts, realizing the lameness of what he just said, but remembers that it has to be family friendly. “Tonight the frequent flyer Zyon will team up with an angry Raging Bull in Manson as they take on former Revolution Zero stablemates JJ Johnson and Scott Pretzler.” Pete is stunned, “Wow, King, that was pretty good.” King tries, “Thank you for saying so… I guess. Geez, you know what, this is so stupid...” “Totheringwego!!” Pete panics. The wonderful (LOL) Paris fans are buzzing with excitement knowing that they're participating in history on the final leg of the SWF's long, exhausting world wide tour. However, this comes to a halt as the house lights dim and “Crusher Destroyer” by Mastodon hits, causing the fans to jump to their feet, and boo… What? Multi colored lights flash as Manson enters the arena, throwing up the horns to a large amount of boos. “What the heck…” Pete wonders while keeping his language in check. The Raging Bull ignores the audience as he walks down to the ring with the same angry expression he always has, which only serves to rile up the crowd further. He slides under the ropes, popping up to his feet and heading to the lower right corner of the ring. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! In the ring, hailing from Denver, Colorado, USA," Funyon booms, to the boos of the crowd, "weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds… MMMAAAAANNNNSOONNNN!" “Seems like Manson has caught quite the backlash after last weeks hardcore match against Jay Hawke,” King says, "in which he coldly smashed a glass pitcher in his face. Serves him right." "I don’t think that's quite the case," says Pete. "How is it not," King questions, "Anyone in their right mind would turn on him after he messed up Hawke's handsome face." The announcers would continue to bicker, but can’t as the familiar words appear on the SmarkTron as "Crusher Destroyer" fades out, whilst Manson stares up at the stage. “I’m Born” “I’m Alive” “I Breathe” The words interchange on the SmarkTron as “Vitamin” by Incubus kicks up over the PA. The fans rise to their feet as Zyon emerges from behind the curtain. The young star has the Hardcore Title across his shoulder this week as he calmly walks down the ramp. Still hurting from his hardcore match with JJ Johnson days ago, he stops midway down the ramp and looks out into the crowd who are cheering, surely, though not as enthusiastically as they usually would. But Zyon pays no mention to the lack of response as he rolls under the ropes and into the ring, cringing a little from the soreness caused from last weeks Storm match. Zyon skips his prematch taunts and simply raises his title into the air. YEAHH! Some cheer… BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Yet more jeer? “Okay, maybe I can understand Manson, he's not everyone's cup of tea, but Zyon as well?” Pete asks. Zyon also looks a little confused as he hands his title to a ring girl, who brings it over to the timekeeper, as Manson merely shrugs his shoulders and tells him not to take it so hard. “And his tag team partner, hailing from Elkhart, Indiana, USA," Funyon says again, to more boos from the crowd, "and weighing in at two hundred pounds… He is the reigning SWF Hardcore Champion… ZZZZYYYYYYYOOOONNNNNN!" Funyon announces Zyon just in time as Korn's “Let’s Do This Now” hits the PA. The fans still on their feet begin to cheer as… wait, now they cheer? JJ Johnson emerges from behind the curtain with a look of all business across his face, the former UFC competitor very nearly defeating Zyon for the Hardcore Title on Storm. Obviously JJ Johnson is not in the best of moods, though some can argue that his best mood is a bad one. He reaches the steps and flips the hood of his robe off… YEAHHHH!!! And the fans explode as if on cue, but Johnson ignores the Frenchies as he enters the ring and backs into his corner across from Manson and Zyon… “And their opponents, first, hailing from Windsor, Ontario, Canada and weighing in at two hundred and nineteen pounds…. J… J… JOOOOOHHHHHNNNNNSOOOONNNN!” Funyon’s voice fades as the cheers overcome the house mic, but the cheers don’t stop there… “We Want Pretzler!” they scream, but let's pretend it's in French. King is excited, “Oh my… this is great! These people are excellent, even if they are a bunch of smelly, beret-wearing, frog-eating, yellow-bellied, cowardly surrender monkeys.” LDP smacks King over the head with a rolled up stack of papers and reminds him of the family friendly rules, but the crowd gets what they want as the beautiful notes of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony excites them into a frenzy, and soon the man himself appears, the SWF Cruiserweight Championship strapped around his waist. Pretzler, full of the pride and arrogance only rivaling that of Frenchman makes his way down the ramp, receiving compliments and cheers as opposed to the typical rude remarks and jeers. The Critic enters the ring with his head held high as Funyon tries to announce him over the booming cheers and chants in Pretzler's name… “And his tag team partner, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and weighing in at two hundred and twenty six pounds… He is the reigning SWF Cruiserweight Champion… 'The Critic' Scott PRRRRRRRREETZLERRRRRRRR!" Funyon announces, his voice barely breaking through the cheers, before exiting the ring. “I know what's going on now, we're in Bizarro World. Manson and Zyon! Hated! Pretzler and Johnson! Loved! Wacky!" "They do love Jerry Lewis. That should explain enough." The two teams stand in their corners as Referee Paul Vandenburg waits for the teams to decide who shall start. Manson and Zyon have a quick discussion and The Raging Bull exits the ring, albeit reluctantly. On the other side of the ring the heroes for tonight discuss the game plan, and after a moment JJ Johnson exits. “Remember Pete, a couple weeks ago Scott Pretzler taught Zyon a lesson in how to tap to the Snowflake Clutch,” King says arrogantly. DING DING DING!!! Zyon hops around energetically as he pumps his first into the air… BOOOOOO!!! The fans shout at the Hardcore Champ, who's evidently caught off guard. Pretzler takes advantage of Zyon, who for a second takes his eyes off his opponent. Pretzler explodes forward wrapping his arm around the head of Zyon and taking him down to the mat with a headlock. YEAHHHHH!!! “Good God, are they are cheering for a headlock?” Pete asks, shaking his head. King couldn’t be happier, “This is lovely... but I don't think you can say G*d on family friendly Lockdown… See?” "No, no. You can say God, you just can't say G*ddamn." "Oh… Well, that's pretty dumb." Zyon squirms and fights to get free and both men slowly rise to a vertical base. Pretzler still has his grip intact, but Zyon places an elbow to the ribs of his opponent. Zyon does so again, and once more before pushing the Cruiserweight Champion off. Pretzler slowly bounces off the ropes, throwing his arm forward and looking for a clothesline. Zyon though easily ducks and counters by reaching back and taking his opponent down with a neckbreaker! Pretzler clutches his neck for a moment and Zyon forces his opponent to his feet. He grabs Pretzler by the wrist and tries to whip him back into the ropes, but the gifted CW Champ refuses to go along for the ride, as Pretzler counters and sends Zyon into the ropes, left side. The mischievous JJ Johnson while on the apron lifts his knee up and strikes Zyon! YEAHHHH!!! And they cheer again! Vandenburg warns Johnson of his illegal interference, and the crowd gives him a dose of jeers, as Zyon’s eyes bulge out as he clutches his back and staggers toward Pretzler who lifts him into the air and drops The Youth back first across his knee with a backbreaker! Colliding with the point of Pretz's knee, Zyon bounces off and on to the mat. The Hardcore Champ clutches his back as Pretzler places his knee into the back of Zyon and grabs him by the chin, then yanks back. YEAHHHHHH!! “They love the rest holds,” King points out. "That they do. Amazing… ly weird.” Zyon grunts in pain as his partner Manson watches on, getting increasingly agitated and anxious on the outside. Pretzler quickly realizes that The Youth isn’t going to tap out to a glorified rest hold so he forces him back to his feet. As Zyon rises he leaps forward hits a knee to the gut of Pretzler! Zyon then runs in reverse and bounces off the ropes, shooting himself toward Pretzler. He leaps into the air and attempts a flying clothesline, but Pretzler jumps and dropkicks Zyon out of mid air! Zyon falls to the mat gasping for the air that was just blasted out of him. “THAT is the best dropkick in the business!!” King shouts. The fans cheer as Pretzler brings Zyon up to his feet and whips him into his team's corner. The Critic rushes toward Zyon and stuns him with a running knee to the stomach. The Youth once again is forced to gasp for air and Pretzler refuses to let up, unleashing a furious series of chops that would make a mother cry. SMACK WHOOOO! SMACK WHOOOO! SMACK WHOOOO! Zyon clutches his chest and drops to his knees, coughing from the pain. Pretzler then slaps hands with fellow Canadian Johnson, bringing him into the ring! YEAHHHH!!! The fans let out a round of cheers as Johnson brings a spaghetti legged Zyon up to his feet. Digging deep into his extensive martial arts background, Johnson hits a pair of stiff kicks to Zyon's chest, before leaping into the air and bringing his leg around… CRACK! And nailing Zyon with a flush spinning roundhouse to the face! Zyon staggers out from the corner and begins stumbling toward Manson, reaching out for a tag, but is much too far away. His opponent not even realizing how silly he looks, reaching for a partner that is on the other side of the ring, Johnson smirks and lets Zyon humor himself further, before dashing his hopes and locking Zyon in an inverted facelock. Totally defenseless, he can do nothing but look up at the lights as Johnson drops down, spiking The Youth's back across his knee! Zyon falls to the side clutching his back as Johnson finally goes for a cover. ONE! TWO! He kicks out and the crowd lets out a disappointing sigh! Pete is worried, “I’ve never seen Zyon dismantled this badly before! He hasn't been able to get started at all! There hasn't even been one tag between he and Manson!” “And the French are loving it,” King says with a sick grin. Johnson brings Zyon up and lands a body shot to the gut, and a jab to the face, causing Zyon to instinctively strike back with a forearm! Zyon doesn’t stop there, showing his heart by placing a closed left hand into the face of his opponent. Johnson staggers backward as The Unique Youth kicks him in the gut and locks in a gut wrench. He then lifts Johnson up, looking to drive him into the mat with a gut wrench suplex. BOO!!! The crowd boos the attempted comeback as Johnson kicks his feet like a swimmer under water. Johnson shifts his weight, causing Zyon to wobble unbalanced as he drops Johnson back down on his feet. JJ immediately takes advantage, lifting Zyon up and dropping him with a gut wrench of his own! Zyon sits up briefly before dropping down on his side and grasping his back. Breathing heavy again, Zyon finds himself back in Johnson's hands as he applies an arm wrench, breaking Zyon's spirit and making the tag to Pretzler! “Pretzler once again enters… to CHEERS!!” screams King, rubbing it in LDP's face. Pete scoffs, “I know, and they're allowed to, no matter how silly their reasons or how much I may dislike it.” "What a French thing to say," sneers King. Pretzler ascends up to the top and with Johnson keeping hold of Zyon, he jumps off and levels Zyon with a double ax handle!. Zyon goes down to the mat and Pretzler goes for a cover. ONE! TWO! Another kickout! Pretzler doesn't sweat it, though, as he brings Zyon up into a seated position and places him in a chin lock. A French woman audibly shouts, “I love you Scott!!” Of course, being in French, Pretzler doesn't understand it, and neither do we, as he keeps the pressure on Zyon's neck. The Hardcore Champ tries to get free by bridging up, and succeeds. Zyon reaches his arm back and cradles Pretzler’s head. Zyon then drops down, trying to catch Pretzler with a stunner of sorts, but there's a problem… Pretzler pulls his head back, breaking Zyon's hold on him and leaving Zyon to drop to the mat and prone to an attack. The Critic wastes no time and charges forward, smacking Zyon with a soccer kick to the back! SMACK! The shot echoes causing Zyon to let out a yell. The Youth clutches his back as Pretzler lifts him to his feet. Pretzler then forces Zyon into a front face lock and hooks him by the tights, lifting him into and air and then driving him into the mat with a vertical suplex! Pretz then floats over into a lateral press for the cover… ONE! TWO! Shoulder up! Pretzler rolls off of Zyon and heads to his corner, making the tag to his partner JJ Johnson! Johnson hurries into the ring and drops the point of his elbow into the heart of his opponent. The former UFC fighter then lifts the Hardcore Champ up and whips him into the far camera side ropes. Zyon bounces off the ropes and gets spun around and dropped across Johnson's back with a tilt a whirl backbreaker! Zyon’s back bends on impact causing him to open his mouth as if wanting to scream. However, nothing comes out as Zyon looks like a fatigued beaten man. Zyon grabs his back as Johnson relentlessly lifts Zyon to his feet and locks him in a bear hug. Johnson though is like a chess player as he is thinking far ahead of a simple bear hug. The former hardcore champ in one fluid motion lifts Zyon up and throws him backward completing an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. King is overjoyed, “Zyon is just being dominated. Now this is how the kid should have came into the SWF.” Pete doesn’t agree, but can’t help, but notice Zyon’s position. “King this is Zyon’s first tag match in the SWF. I’m sure he’s not used to taking a beating from two different opponents working toward the same goal.” Zyon of course clutches his back as his eyes tell the story of a man in pain. Zyon tries to pull himself up with help from the ropes. He succeeds only for Johnson to charge forward… and get back dropped over the ropes!!! Zyon falls to the mat on all fours as he has the opening he needs to make the tag. Zyon gets to his feet hunched over due to his weakened back not being able to carry the weight. The Youth slowly makes his way over to Manson who is just dying to force punishment on his opponents. Scott Pretzler though realizes a fresh Manson is a dangerous Manson as he enters the ring and charges. But Zyon turns around and blasts the Cruiserweight Champion with a forearm! Pretzler staggers backward, grabbing the referee’s attention. Zyon though doesn’t care as he staggers forward and makes the weak tag… BOOOOO!!!!!!! And the fans explode with hatred! “He made the tag to Manson, now maybe this Canadian team will pay for what they’ve done to Zyon!” Pete bugs out. The Raging Bull charges into the ring and faces off against… the ref? Referee Paul Vandenburg orders Manson out of the ring stating, “I didn’t see the tag!!” Vandenburg lays the law down as Manson looks like he's about to explode like a volcano at any moment. Zyon weakly staggers around the ring confused as to what's happening. Pete is pissed, “What?! He made the tag! This is bullsh--” King interrupts breaking out in song, “And I think it's gonna be a long long time till touch down brings me round again. To find I'm not the man they think I am at home. Oh no no no I'm a rocket man!" The Suicide King saves Lockdown from being cancelled. Order is restored in the ring as Manson leaves in a huff, as does Pretzler. YEAHHHH!!! The fans cheer that Manson is forced to leave, causing The Raging Bull to flick the crowd off in a fit of rage. Zyon is left standing confused as he makes his way for the tag again. Zyon though notices on the corner of eye a foot heading his way… CRACK!! And is soon knocked to the mat by JJ Johnson who just performed an amazing springboard spinning wheel kick! Johnson crawls over to Zyon and goes for the cover… ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Zyon is able to kickout as Johnson forces Zyon up and whips him into the ropes. Zyon weakly comes off the ropes visibly favoring his back. Johnson is able to crouch down and get his hands on Zyon chest before elevating him into the air looking for a flapjack. Zyon floats in the atmosphere, but like a meteor comes rapidly back down to Earth. Zyon though shocks everyone in attendance by wrapping his hands around the head of JJ Johnson and drives him to the mat face first!! YEAH!! A good amount of fans in the audience cheers on Zyon. BOOOOO!!! Of course that leaves the rest to boo his ass out of the building. The Youth usually adored by the fans has finally decided to ignore the hate as he crawls toward Manson. Johnson is stunned as he covers his face after being driven to the mat. Zyon is inches his way toward his partner. Six inches… He continues to crawl… 3 inches… Zyon extends his hand and swings toward Manson’s extended arm. Zyon though catches nothing but air as Johnson grabs Zyon’s leg! The Youth forces himself to his feet as a look of disappointment shadows Manson’s face. Pete cries, “He was so close…” Johnson is on his feet trying to pull Zyon back. The Hardcore Champ hops on one foot as the fans brace themselves. They know what is going to happen… enzuigiri!!! Zyon leaps into the air and throws his foot toward Johnson whose eyes widen. The former UFC fighter is no doubt caught off guard, but is able to duck out of the way of the on coming foot. Zyon though lands on that same foot and stretches his whole body out, and leaps forward… MAKING THE TAG! BOOOOOOO!!! The people boo as Johnson releases Zyon who falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring knowing he needs to recuperate. Pretzler shakes his head on the apron as Johnson prepares to battle Manson, a far cry from Zyon's style. “I don’t care what these great fans think about him, the Raging Bull has entered the ring!” screams Pete. "Whatever, let's not forget that Johnson pinned Manson in a tag match on our last edition of SmarkDown." Manson charges at Johnson and hits him with an extended arm, knocking him down with a clothesline! He's right back on Johnson with stomps, keeping him pinned to the mat, and Pretzler enters the ring. Running past Vandenburg, he clubs Manson with an ax handle to the back, knocking him down to a knee as the fans cheer. Pulling him back up, Pretzler grabs him by the arm and whips him across the ring, into the left hand ropes. Pretzler awaits him in the middle of the ring, but Manson nails a kick to the stomach! With Pretz doubled over, Manson grabs him by the back of the head and disposes of him, throwing him over the top rope! Of course, the crowd gives him a hearty round of boos, but as Manson turns back around toward Johnson, JJ sprints across the ring and jumps, swinging his legs out and taking Manson down with a spinning heel kick! The Stampede quickly gets to his feet, grimacing and holding his forehead, but just as quickly Johnson grabs hold of him around the waist, lifting him up and planting him to the side with a side belly to belly suplex! Johnson goes for the cover, hooking the leg! "Manson came out on fire, but the spinning heel kick and belly to belly put a stop to that," LDP surmises. "And quality teamwork. Pretzler sacrificed himself, allowing Johnson to get the drop on Manson." ONE! But Manson easily kicks out at one! Johnson forcefully pulls him off the mat and gives him a hand thrust to the throat. Manson reels back, grabbing onto the far camera side ropes, but as Johnson nears him in order to follow up, Manson comes back with a pair of chops to the chest! SMACK WHOOOO! SMACK WHOOOO! Johnson is stunned momentarily, but as his opponent goes for another chop, Johnson absorbs the initial impact, grabs the wrist and secures the arm. He then drags Manson down to the mat and comes down on top of his shoulder, going for a fujiwara armbar! However, Manson is too close to the ropes, and he quickly hooks the bottom with his foot. After taking advantage of the full five count, Johnson finally relents, releasing Manson and letting him stand with the assistance of the ropes. "JJ tries an armbar, but Manson is able to get his foot on the rope!" As Manson flexes his arm, Johnson closes in with a sharp roundhouse to the ribs! Manson cringes and turns his attention to his side, as Johnson smacks Manson with another kick! JJ switches that up with a left leg roundhouse to Manson's right knee, buckling it slightly, before going for yet another kick to the ribs. But this time Manson catches Johnson's leg and trips him up, taking him down on his back, then mounts and begins raining down lefts and rights in the center of the ring, attempting to pound Johnson's face in. After a series of fists, Johnson grabs Manson's right arm and, delving into his submission knowledge, scissors the arm with his legs! "Six Seconds Magic!" "Clearly Manson is too slow and reckless to match up with Johnson. He'll make you pay for your mistakes and Manson hasn't learned that by now." Manson immediately begins struggling and fighting, looking for a way out as he gets to his feet. With a scream and brute strength, he lifts his arm off the mat, bringing Johnson up with him. However, this only serves to increase the pain, forcing him to set Johnson back down. Seeing no chance of escape, Manson begins hammering at Johnson's ribs with his free arm, allowing him to pull his arm free! The crowd lets out a sigh as Manson puts some distance between he and Johnson. "Manson frees himself, but who knows how much damage was done." "He hasn't even been in that long, which goes to show just how much Johnson maximizes his holds." Manson hunches over, grabbing his shoulder as Johnson pursues him. However, as Johnson grabs hold of him, Manson catches him with a back elbow to the jaw. But, although he's staved off Johnson, it's his right arm that he used, causing him to grab his shoulder once again. Johnson closes in again, so Manson opts for a knee to the stomach this time around, doubling him over. Following up, Manson quickly places Johnson in a standing headscissors and grabs him around the waist. Manson struggles to lift Johnson up, but fights through the pain anyway and off his shoulders, Manson drops Johnson on the canvas with a powerbomb! Manson scrambles into a cover! "Powerbomb by Manson!" "A rather weak one, in my mind," sneers King. ONE! TWOOO! But Pretzler breaks it up! Pretzler begins attacking Manson with forearms to the back, but Zyon enters and grabs him in a front facelock! Pretzler attempts to throw the pesky Zyon off, but The Youth goes with it, swinging around and taking Pretzler down with a Tornado DDT! Pretzler slides out of the ring and Zyon goes after him, as Manson stands and waits for Johnson to stand. JJ gets to his feet and Manson goes on the attack, heading for the right hand ropes and bouncing off. Johnson turns around and Manson goes for his trademark Western Lariat. "Manson going for the Lariat!" screams Pete. "JJ DUCKS!" Indeed, he misses! Manson stumbles forward, hitting the opposite ropes and instead striking Johnson a forearm to the jaw as he comes back! Johnson goes down to a knee, but as Manson closes in, Johnson circles around him and grabs him around the waist. Lifting him up, Johnson brings him back and plants him with a bridging German! "A German with a pin now!" ONE! TWOOO! THR-- MANSON KICKS OUT! Johnson slaps the mat in frustration, opting to pick his opponent up off the mat. Grabbing Manson and holding him perpendicular to his body in the beginning stages of an exploder suplex, Johnson prepares for the UDV, but Manson shoves a series of elbows to the side of the head and neck of Johnson. Now free, Manson turns a shoulder toward Johnson and reaches back, grabbing him by the head! Just as quickly, Manson takes Johnson down, impacting JJ neck first into his shoulder! Manson quickly goes for a cover, as Zyon and Pretzler fight on the outside. "CONSEQUENCES!" LDP shouts. ONE! TWOOO!!! THREEEEEE! DING DING DING! "Your winner by pinfall," says Funyon, to the continuing boos of the fans, "the team of Manson and Zyon!" "Crusher Destroyer" by Mastodon hits, as Manson rolls onto his knees and has his left arm raised by Vandenburg. Zyon rolls in as well, as Manson gets to his feet and stands over Johnson, looking down on him with disgust as the crowd still boos. His hand now being raised, Zyon tries to pull Manson away before he does anything rash, informing Manson of his shoulder and his own state of being, and Manson simply pushes him aside before exiting the ring, followed behind by Zyon. "Manson and Zyon pick up the win, but of course, I wouldn't expect Manson to become best friends with him." "Obviously not, but he should be thankful Zyon was able to hold off Pretzler," says King. "And thankfully Zyon held Manson back there, with Johnson in his sights after the fact. Anyway, the rag tag team of Zyon and Manson are victorious, in somewhat of an upset, and we'll be back with more Lockdown, after this."
JJ Johnson 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2005 I really liked this match. Zyon's grammar was much improved, and it made the match easier on the eyes, and it was fun to read. Wrestling-wise, it was better than mine, easily. Especially since the finisher was out of nowhere, but it made sense. Not like mine, which was like WTF!? How the hell did that happen? Yours was "Oh, he reversed out of the UDV. I get it." One minor detail: I made Manson tap on Smarkdown, not pinned him.
