Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 1) A woman who can't sing for shit gets polite applause at the karaoke bar. Steve Austin, who can't sing for shit, gets thunderous applause. Eddie Guerrero, who can't sing for shit, gets booed off the stage. Why? RACISM. 2) Brock Lesnar is a bad man for intending to do some damage to Trish Stratus. Bubba Ray Dudley -- who put a woman through a table last week -- intends to do damage to Molly Holly and is a good guy. And why do Bubba's actions become good or bad depending on the woman he assaults? 3) It was mentioned ad nauseum that Undertaker needed a chair to beat Hulk Hogan. But no one mentioned it when Hogan used a chair to beat HHH last month. 4) Paul Heyman is a bad man for lusting after young women. Jerry Lawler, who's OLDER THAN HEYMAN, is just fun lovin' Jerry for doing the exact same thing. And speaking of Heyman, can Jim Ross PLEASE find a different insult than that "pimple/hemorroid on the face/BUTT of life"? You have a freaking week to think of new insults; use it. Guest papacita Report post Posted May 21, 2002 How'd you get racism out of that? It wasn't the best logic in the world (seemed to me like he got booed just for being a heel), but damn racism is a pretty big jump.
Guest Risk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 This thread is GOLD. It won't going anywhere, I'll make sure of that. Here are some more. Flair helps Taker, even though Taker assaulted his son. Bubba is a GOOD misogynyst, while Lesnar is a BAD misogynyst. WTF? Why is Jazz the heel? At least she attacks people herself, while Trish gets help from a large man. Damn, I wish the WW E would be FORCED to answer these questions.
Guest Risk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 BTW, Eddy WAS booed because he was Latino. I LIVE in a Southern state and we do have a lot of racist people here, sadly. I live in Alabama, BTW. Did anyone here the Memphis crowd chanting "Raven's gay!"? Stupid hicks.
Guest notJames Report post Posted May 21, 2002 4) Paul Heyman is a bad man for lusting after young women. Jerry Lawler, who's OLDER THAN HEYMAN, is just fun lovin' Jerry for doing the exact same thing. I don't recall Lawler threatening a woman with physical violence like Heyman did. Apples and oranges... (Just playing devil's advocate, that's all ) As for the karoake skit, I would've booed both of them off the stage (and got a sound thrashing for it... damn racist rednecks... ). BTW, did you know that karoake is Japanese for "tone deaf"?
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted May 21, 2002 I agree with most of these, but do people not think Eddy got booed because he's a HEEL? and heels generally are booed? yes?
Guest Risk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Ugh...heels and faces make wrestling seem like a cartoon(a very stupid cartoon). Wrestlers are REAL people.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Ugh...heels and faces make wrestling seem like a cartoon(a very stupid cartoon). Wrestlers are REAL people. Um, no, they're not. I doubt very much that real people go around stunning their bosses. Wrestling is a cartoon, whether you like it or not.
Guest Nater Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Lita interferes in a match, cheers. Steph interfers in a match, boos. Stone Cold runs in on a title match, cheers. Anybody else runs in on a title match, jeers. ..

I doubt very much that real people go around stunning their bosses. Wrestling is a cartoon, whether you like it or not. Sadly, you're right. Wrestling has become a cartoon. And it doesn't matter what I or anybody else wishes can do about. Vin McMahon Jr. has made wrestling an embarassment.

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 21, 2002 Here's a question: If the heel is so upset that the babyface interrupted his promo, why does the heel stay quiet and let the babyface talk? Another question: Why do wrestlers act like the ropes are holding them back from someone on the ramp? A third question: Why is a babyface smart for running away (say, after cutting a promo), but heels always have "the limber tail"?
