I will admit that pissed me off too. The usualy announcing team would have made that MILES better. Ah well, don't bother getting it. Maybe it's just my taste. I agree about Taue, though. He activley SUCKED in 1/24, but by the CC, he was the King. By 6/9/95, he had again stepped it up with the same group of competiers. But if you watch the 10/15/95 60 minute draw, all under the same conditions, same people etc. Taue seemed like a completely different wrestler. Scary to think how much one can improve in such a short time.

I love that match, I was just watching it the other day.  Kobashi took one hell of a beating in that match.  I like the end where Jumbo just loses it, and takes the right hands to him.  The shots of Misawa watching on, in the distance really added to the match as well.  

 

As far as 1/19/95 match goes, I personally liked it.  Even on the first viewing.  Its defiently one of the better, long ass matches out there.  I never really got the felling the guys were holding back either.  It wasn't one of their most action packed matches, but I think it was one of their most fluid and better paced matches.  I agree the production, and announcing team sucks and that doesn't help with an epic match.

Yes, yes he did.  Some folks don't see it or notice and think it's a great match.  Well, it was the longest 60 minutes I had to sit through in a hell of a long time.

 

I remember exactly when it was.  I had ordered this match (stupid me) and, believe it or not, the Misawa Vol. 2 tape (Misawa vs. Jumbo 6/90).  I had heard the complaints about the tag for a long time, but I said what the hell and ordered it.  Let's just say that 30 minutes in I couldn't wait to see Misawa vs. Jumbo.  I traded the thing a week later, but at that point, I would've accepted a blank tape in exchange.
