Sd!4 and raw 2.

I was just wondering what everyone has heard or knows about these 2 games? SD!4 and RAW 2? Will they be any good or will they be as bad as there predcessors?

Well, I'd say go to either WGCentral.com, Gamespot.com, or somewhere like that.  

 

I D/Led the Smackdown! 4 vid.. looks GREAT graphic-wise.  But graphics DON'T MAKE GAMES.  I never really the SD! system (it is entertaining for awhile), so...

 

I've only seen pics of Raw 2.  Also, looks great graphic-wise..

 

I don't have a PS2 or a X-Box, but I do have a GC, so I hoping that WMX8 will be good.  I sure Trophy Slam will keep me hooked to that for a long while.

well smackdown is gotta be better. the best one was the first one.

 

Raw was good, but the replay value wasn't really there. It was missing that.

 

WMX8 is probably going to be the best, usually Nintendo comes out with some killer wrestling games.

Hmm.  RAW 2 for X Box could make use of the X BOX live thing, but then of course SD 4 and the next THQ WWE GC game could utilize the net adapters as well.

I haven't heard anything about a Smackdown 4 or a RAW 2. The only game I knew of was Wrestlemania X-8. Is anyone heartbroken that there will be no backstage fighting in it?

Revamped?  Well, they're getting more wrestlers, more backstage areas, two new modes, better graphics, more storyline stuff.. BUT..

 

I'm betting the controls will be the same or close.  And the SD!-arcade system of game will be there.    I wouldn't call that revamped simply because I hate the SD!-arcade style of the game.

 

Oh.. and it's named "Smackdown!"... so they are going to use all the Rock's phrases until they run out.

I don't care about Smackdown 4, Wrestlemania X-8, or RAW 2. Spike announced Fire Pro games for both the PS2 & Gamecube.. both in 3D.

 

I know that I can rely on Spike to have good gameplay in wrestling games.

Never played a Fire-Pro or Raw, so it's SD for me. The game looks good...I just hope they bring back season mode and allow title changes in regular matches like in the 1st 2 games.

I just saw the SD!4 preview on IGN (ps2.ign.com), and I've gotta say, that game looks like something else. If they can pull off even half the stuff they say, I'll be getting it.

 

Let's hope that the commentary isn't Cole/Tazz, or at least Cole/Tazz just for the SD! shows (provided there's a season mode). JR and Lawler get Raws and PPV's. Or maybe - I dunno how hard it would be, but if some way you could unlock Heyman, and then you could replay or restart season and HE would be with JR.

Heres an interesting thing I picked up in a mag somewhere about Smackdown, and it the fact that if the Split thing is still going, what they might elect to do is make all of the RAW Wrestlers locked so you start off only being able to Wrestle on Smackdown with Smackdown stars.  Similar thing could be in the works for RAW2, but vice versa of course.

Wow, they somehow came up with something even stupider than the split in the first place.  How many gamers would be seriously pissed off if they had to  "unlock" half of the standard roster in a WW(F)E game?
