YES! Dead Next Door finally getting released! I've been trying to get ahold of a copy of this movie for ages

Is that worth buying? I can't decide if I want to buy it or not. Reviews on IMDB were too divided between hate, love and it's ok to be of any help.

I've seen it. I wasn't too impressed. It's not horrible, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I'd just wait for the 23rd when Takashi Miike's "Audition" comes out in a special edition and Dario Argento's "Trauma" (Underrated movie, btw) come out.

Muppet Show Season 1 is a must.

Oldboy is what I'm most looking forward to on the 23rd, but Audition: SE will also be on my list. August 23rd will be known to me as "Blindly Buying Asian Films with a reputation of being fucked up" Day.

Intruder is the only DVD I'm considering buying this week. I love the Muppet Show, but I'm not really into buying TV shows on DVD. I'm interested in Kung-Fu Hustle, but I'd rather rent it.

I went out looking for Thundercats today, but had no luck, guess Wal-Mart is only stocking it online.

If you have to buy it online, there are cheaper places than Walmart.com

Buy.com: $44.43

Amazon.com: $45.44

Am I the only one out there who thinks that Thundercats was a huge pile of poorly animated and horribly written horse shit?

I'm not baiting, either. I'm 100% serious. I remember, as a kid, never being that impressed with the show at all.

Also, huzzah for Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte FINALLY coming out on DVD!

No, you're right.

Thundercats is a terrible show on all accounts, but I still love it for some reason. Silverhawks, Thundercats twin show, is better.

I never caught Silverhawks, actually. Honestly, I was a GI Joe/Transformers kid. Though, looking back, GI Joe was a pretty awful show as well, heh. ;)

Most of the cartoons we grew up on were pretty much terrible. I'm just glad we didn't grow up in the era of bland generic "educational" cartoons like Today's childrens.

That's not to say all cartoons aimed towards childrens are bad now, but a large percentage are.
