Guest Frank_Nabbit Report post Posted August 11, 2005 My buddy's CPU is not working, the power to the main CPU brain box is on but nothing but black comes on (I can't remember whether it says "No signal" on screen on not) All the wiring seems hooked up, and he has a bare bones CPU used only to look up fantasy points @ ESPN.com, so I'm at a loss as to where he could've picked up a virus. Dandy 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2005 I'm not a computer genius, so this might not be the problem. My computer had a similar problem a year or so ago, and it needed a new power supply. Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2005 Make sure the monitor is plugged into the computer's VGA slot securely. Failing that, your power supply probably blew.
