TNA officially announced the first iMPACT taping will be on Tues, Sept. 27 and that they will follow an every 2 week schedule for the time being. Curiously though, there's nothing scheduled between Unbreakable and the first Spike taping, so that means they'll be going dark for 3 weeks. That's really gonna cut into the BFG hype time. I thought the six weeks between the PPVs would give them a chance to really do some good building, but I guess they think it's more important to gear up for the big debut. TNA WRESTLING ANNOUNCES UPCOMING SPIKETV “iMPACT!” TELEVISION TAPING SCHEDULE

 

Nashville, TN (August 2005) TNA Wrestling has released its upcoming television taping schedule, including the first episodes of “iMPACT!” to air on SpikeTV.

 

TNA “iMPACT” will air Saturday nights on SpikeTV starting October 1.

 

The upcoming TNA Television Taping Schedule is as follows:

 

Sunday, September 11- “Unbreakable” live and exclusively on Pay-Per-View

 

Tuesday, September 27 – TNA’s first taping for “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV

 

Tuesday, October 11 – “iMPACT” on SpikeTV television taping

 

Sunday, October 23 – “Bound For Glory” live and exclusively on Pay-Per-View

 

Tuesday, October 25 - “iMPACT” on SpikeTV television taping

 

Sunday, November 13 – TNA Pay-Per-View (To Be Announced)

 

Tuesday, November 15 – “iMPACT” on SpikeTV television taping

 

Tuesday, November 29 - “iMPACT” on SpikeTV television taping

According to the website, they still have TV taping scheduled for Sept 13 so they wont be dark from then til the Spike TV debut. This press release is just in terms of taping for the Spike TV stuff exclusively.
