I'm sure it was an illusion and all, but that guy rules!!! You truly have to see it to believe it. It looked so real, that Carson Daly even stood up away from him in shock. David Blaine is great.

This was yesterday on Last Call. I was flipping through the channels and I saw it. It was the last 3-4 minutes of the show. I think they re-run the show on E! Catch it if you can, it's truly awesome.

Why yes it is. Since the big comic book-to-movie boom is going on I'm starting a petition to get the T-Force a movie deal. Im thinking a 3 picture deal with MULTIPLE villians. With of course an appearence from The A-TEAM.

I caught that on Carson's show, I watch the show every once and awhile, cause there really isnt much else to watch at 2am on the weekdays. That Blaine guy is a little off his rocker. He did that thing where he slowed his heart and then he starts diggin into his chest. Carson was freaked out and I couldnt believe what I was seeing, after a few seconds i was like okay that cant be real but. But he sold it like he was dead, and then they didnt even come back from commercial and end the show, just some stage manger said goodnight. What a freak show.

I've been looking all over teh place, and even the almighty Kazaa can't help. The only picture I saw was a lame one of Blaine unbuttoning his shirt. I WANT MEAT, DAMMIT.

The special last night was a bit of a letdown although it was still cool. The trick he did with the watch, newspaper and jewelry store window was great and the highlight of the show. The nail through the wood was also good.

 

Here is a site that tells you how to perform some Blaine tricks. Soon I too will become a great street magician and with it riches and fame will fall onto my lap.

I was lucky I saw it just in time, and it caught me by surprise so I didn't have a chance to tape it or anything. I also didn't cathc any of his other tricks, just that one. If anybody finds it please post the link. Thanks.

The Beer trick, Watch trick, and the Nail trick were the best tricks. But they also showed some of the clips of the first special.

...so I guess this means I should've skipped the Celebrity Boxing 2 and watched the David Blaine special after all? Anyone know if it will be replayed anytime soon?

Celebrity boxing 2 actually came from 8:30-10:00 and the David Blaine special from 10:00-11:00, at least it did where I live.

 

I doubt it will replay on ABC unless it did huge numbers but it should air on TLC but it'll be a while from now.

The jump thing was lame.  I could probably do that, and stand up there for 50 hours. But his illusions kick ass.

I wish they showed the clips where he levitated.  That was totally fucked up.  The nail thing, I'm not sure that that's a true "trick" - it's more illusion combined with a high pain threshold.

The jump, sure.  That might actually be fun.  Standing there for 34 hours straight?  That's a lot harder than it looks.
