Toxxic 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Some of you may have noticed that we have a new award this year - for INternational Champion of the Year. You might also have noticed that Andrew Blackwell (Sacred) never held this belt. So here's why it's in his name. a) Sacred is a great writer, who is often undervalued (not least by himself), is a very long-standing member of the fed and probably deserves an award named after him. b) He has had notable runs with both the ICTV and US/USJL titles, the two belts that the International Title was composed of. c) He's currently retired, so won't be in the running for an award named after himself, unlike all International Champions we've had.
