Guest Report post Posted May 23, 2002 Not sure if anyone noticed this before or not.. I went to 1wrestling.com to read what I think is the funniest shit in the world... Tommy Fiero. I was going to copy paste because there was some stupid shit in it that I was going to comment on... and if you select all and right-click... well they disabled it so now it says "This information is property of 1wrestling.com". Of course you can still CTRL C to copy.. so FUCK YOU BOB and onto the commenting. Stuff in the ( ) are mine. TDT: THOUGHTS ON AUSTIN/GUERRERO, TOMMY DREAMER, nWo, RAVEN, AND MORE My Raw thoughts..... I really enjoyed this past Monday's Raw show. I'm sorry it took me two days to review it, but I taped the show and didn't get to watch it until today. I thought it was a very good effort and a step in the right direction for that show. The ratings didn't show it, but it was a very good effort. What stood out the most for me on the show was the Steve Austin/Eddie Guerrero angle. I love comedy angles like this (AND THIS IS WHY YOU ARE SO HATED). You can tell Steve Austin was having a good time doing his bit and I had a good time watching it. I was actually going to write a "TDT" last week about WWE putting Austin in a program with Guerrero. (BULLSHIT) I wish I would have. (I'M SURE YOU DO) I believe it's a great idea and it will make Austin seem fresh again and it'll give Guerrero the push of a lifetime. He's such a great heel and this is going to be a very fun feud to watch. Big time kudos to WWE for going with this idea. I also thought Kevin Nash's interview about the nWo was very well done. While the nWo isn't what it once was and never will be, he did a very good job in trying to make it mean something (UH HUH... I SEEM TO REMEMBER YOU CREAMING OVER THE nWo). I believe this segment was somewhat effective. On that topic, Booker T is without question the most entertaining guy on the Raw show right now (OF COURSE HE IS.... YOU LIKE TO WATCH HIM DO COMEDY INSTEAD OF WRESTLE). Even though they did the old "Dusty finish" in the main event of the RVD/Taker match, I enjoyed it. I believe this match elevated RVD a little and the fans will now want to see RVD get the title (THEY JUST NOW WANTED HIM TO GET THE TITLE? WELL SHIT). I hope they stick with the Taker/RVD feud on Raw and hope they don't blow it off after this one show. I wrote yesterday that Edge should be given the title (AND THAT WOULD ACCOMPLISH?). I wouldn't mind seeing RVD getting it either and seeing where he could go with it. I also thought Raven and Jerry Lawler's angle was good. I would have liked seeing Raven get the win after his DDT and Lawler not being able to do commentary for the rest of the show, allowing Raven the chance to. It would have made Raven look like a player instead of a chickensh*t by running away from Lawler. If they continue this feud- that finish was fine, but if they don't, it was a waste of time. I really enjoyed the build-up to their match though. It's time for Raven to get pushed, he's awesome (ITS JUST NOW TIME? WELL FUCK. I WAS WRONG AGAIN). I also really liked how they started the Brock Lesnar/Bubba Ray Dudley feud. The Paul Heyman/Trish Stratus skit was also very good. Some very good booking here. I'm also enjoying the Tommy Dreamer skits. While they are kinda stupid, they are making him a star (AND HOW IS THIS?). Since he's been in the WWE, he hasn't gotten any TV time and no one thought once about him, nevermind twice. But now people are going to be saying, "That Dreamer guy is crazy!" I like it. Good stuff. Apparently he's a really nice guy in person...but just comes off as a complete idiot in his column. Guest swan Report post Posted May 23, 2002 Fierro is always hilarious. I'm sure he's a 14 year old kid. He did indeed run an indie fed and he had some ties with late Dennies Cazzulo(sp) of NWA-NJ. ISPW was actually pretty successful for at the time, an 18 year old kid. I remember reading about them several years back and they drew upwards of 1000 people legit which is a very good number. Of course this was before there was an indie on every block out in Jersey. There was a big buzz about him and he even appeared in a skit during a wrestlemania. I think the buzz died when his personality was exposed. He also worked for Afa's WXW for a time. One reason I have heard he is still on the site is because he gets a lot of hits. People read his column cause it's always worth a good laugh. And over at 1up a click means $ with those pop up ads. If you want him to go away please don't read his stupid shit.
