Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I think that was the plan by the Titans. You bring in Norm Chow, you blow the season, you draft Matt Leinart once Steve McNair gets his legs broken in the regular season when the line forgets to block for him, and you pick some second round wide-outs. Then you teach Travis Henry to stop fumbling the ball. See? Simple. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually I think McNair was retirement bound anyways. Thats a great point. I forgot Chow was with the Titans now.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Chi v Washington sounds truly riveting. If only I could have that AND Miami v Denver...
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Am I the only one who forgot the Dolphins and Broncos were playing? It's 6-3 Miami in the third.
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 This just in from Miami: Denver sucks.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Here is the dilemna... I had Bengals with 27 pts in the pick em. Do I want my team to continue to romp the Browns or them to stay steady and stay with 27?

If the Browns don't start rallying, hope the Bengals don't score anymore. It's the best of both worlds.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 This just in from Miami: Denver sucks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> [ESPN]But they went undefeated in the preseason![/ESPN]
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 FUCK Daunte fumbled the handoff, then recovered it and made an awesome TD throw... only to have it called off on a bullshit offensive PI call
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 This just in from Miami: Denver sucks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> [ESPN]But they went undefeated in the preseason![/ESPN] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, and Indianapolis went 0-5 in the preseason, but I don't think they're bringing that up.

Said that it might be a bad sign. God knows why. Hell, when the Bills were in their SB runs, they ALWAYS did poorly in the preseason.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Woo hoo! First defensive stop by Tennessee! Too bad it was in the 4th quarter, against the backups, when they're down by 27.

I turned Countdown off after about 5 minutes. The opening reminded me of the over-the-top crap they were shoveling on their first post-Limbaugh show.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Mike, if you're watching the game, did you see the early snap play?
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I never saw it as crap...nah, nevermind. Wow, Stephen Davis with a long run.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Mike, if you're watching the game, did you see the early snap play? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm flipping between Pitt v Tenn and Carolina v NO constantly. I missed it.
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 The Broncos desperately need a new QB.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 It was pretty hysterical. They're talking about Ben being injured right now, but what happened was that Hartings snapped the ball on one, HARD, and slammed the ball into Ben's left hand. He sort of looked around as the rest of both teams sat there, then fell down on his face. It had to be the most hysterical play I've ever seen.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 And non-idiotic 3rd round draft picks. Panthers with a good TD. Much needed. And, Tyler, how long until Ben is sat down in this utter rout I'm watching Tenn get their first really deep penetration.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 The Broncos desperately need a new QB. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Denver and Tennesse might as well tank the season and see who can get Leinart.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Oh, he's done now. No chance he plays for the rest of the game. Time for Mommy Maddox.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 XFL will be on the field!! Henry can't block for a shit.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 WOW. The Steelers basically blitzed 11 on that play. I think they just wanted to see if they could.
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 The Broncos desperately need a new QB. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Denver and Tennesse might as well tank the season and see who can get Leinart. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, there's an idea. Denver probably wouldn't have to try very hard either, given their performance today.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Fuck, that was a dirty play by that Panther safety. Fucking dirty as hell. Conwell got blasted.
2GOLD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 XFL will be on the field!! Henry can't block for a shit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can't stop fumbling either. Cedric Benson has just hit the field for the Bears... I changed my mind about broken legs, Steve McNair is going to fucking DIE with this team. Retire now Steve, take the money and RUN!
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 XFL will be on the field!! Henry can't block for a shit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can't stop fumbling either. Cedric Benson has just hit the field for the Bears... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How many yards he lose?

Cedric Benson has just hit the field for the Bears... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How many yards he lose? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's got six yards on two carries at the moment. Memo to Kyle Orton: THIS ISN'T THE NCAA JACKASS! Throws into TRIPLE COVERAGE do not come down as completions.
Guest MikeSC Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Ben is back out there?!?!? There really is no need for that, Cowher. And, in a real shocker, Plummer apparently sucks.
