Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 23, 2002 On the Cosby Show, Denise's husband (Martin the Navy guy) was on a previous episode as some guy Sandra was dating. His name on that show was Darryl, and he took Sandra out while her and Elvin were "on a break" or something. I never even noticed it until I saw that episode again recently. Does anyone else remember any slip-ups like that on other shows?
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted May 23, 2002 I think that James Cromwell played at least two or three different characters on different episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, along with being in First Contact.
Guest Karnage Report post Posted May 23, 2002 Family Matters had two different Winslow mothers. And one of the children mysteriously dissapeared.

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 24, 2002 Star Trek seemed to use a ton of reoccuring actors as different characters. And they go through all shows. Seems to be a clique of actors who the producers like. Tony 'motherfuckin' Todd being one of them. Where *did* Judy Winslow go? And where *is* Waldo Faldo Haroldo Daldo? Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 24, 2002 The prosecutor on Law & Order -- I think his name is Sam Waterman -- once played a defense attorney in an older episode and had a different name.

Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 24, 2002 In Newsradio: After Jimmy James gets out of jail (the D.B. Cooper storyline), he keeps his beard, saying it reminded him of his hippy days. But in a later episode, he states he hates hippies. Joe has to hypnotize him & take him back to his past to figure out why (turns out it was Hell's Angels, not hippies). Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 25, 2002 On Martin, I thought Gina got pregnant one time but they never brought it up. It probably had something to do with the fact that they had Gina "go to LA on business" for at least one full season because Martin had been sexually harrassing her in real life. In the final episode, they were both on it but were never in the same room together. Also, how did they explain when Robert Downey Jr. had to leave Ally McBeal to go to jail? Guest Steve J. Rogers Report post Posted May 29, 2002 The prosecutor on Law & Order -- I think his name is Sam Waterman -- once played a defense attorney in an older episode and had a different name. Its WATERSTON but you are thinking of Jerry Orbach who did play a defense attorney opposite the guy Waterston replaced, Michael Moriarity, and then wound up replacing Paul Sorvine as Det. Lennie Briscoe Steve
Guest Report post Posted May 29, 2002 How about in one of the later seasons of "Growing Pains." The mother gives birth to a 4th child, at the end of one season and then at the beginning of the next season the kid is about 8 years old! No explanation, nothing. Everyone else is the same age... Guest What?! Report post Posted May 30, 2002 Don't know many, but in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Will's aunt changed actresses after a season. I heard Will didn't like her attitude or something... *shrugs* They actually sort of acknowledged it when Will went "Is that you Aunt Viv?" or something like that when the new Vivian was on the show. But the only one I could think of was Judy from Family Matters. They could've just used a "She went to boarding school" excuse.
