Making his way down to the ring...hailing from Green Bay, WI, and weighing in at 240 pounds...THUNDERKID!!!!! COLE Thunderkid making his way down to the ring, set to take on Leon Rodez! COACH Both men former singles champions here in the OAOAST, but in three days, they'll be on opposite sides in a steel cage match, for the World Tag team titles! TK gets in the ring and stretches as Jungle Boogie hits and Leon Rodez comes through the curtains, drawing the crowd to its feet! BUFFER His opponent...he hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and weighs in at 228 pounds...he is one half of the WORRRRRRRRRLLLLD Tag Team Champions...LEEEEEOOOOONNNNNNNNN RRRRRRRRRRRRROOOODEZZZZZZZZ!!!!! COLE Listen to the crowd respond to Leon! Leon raises his arms to the crowd before climbing into the ring. *DING DING DING* COLE These two will have partners Sunday, but tonight it's one-on-one, Leon Rodez vs Thunderkid! Rodez and TK circle the ring a couple times, then tie up. Rodez grabs a headlock, but gets whipped into the ropes and taken down with a shoulderblock. COACH TK with a decided size and strength advantage, Leon will have to use speed, he doesn't want to trade blows in this one. TK whips Rodez into the ropes again, then leapfrogs him, and drops down for a monkey flip...but Rodez drops a fist right between the eyes! Rodez then hits a dropkick, sending TK through the ropes and to the floor! COLE GREAT dropkick by Leon, and TK has to regroup! TK takes an 8-count outside the ring, then slowly climbs back in. He goes to the eyes, then whips Leon again. Leon ducks a clothesline and hits a flying bodypress! 1..2..TK quickly kicks out. TK rushes Leon and gets caught in a side headlock! TK headscissors Leon, but Leon nips up to escape, then comes off the ropes with a spinning heel kick! Leon covers...1...2...TK kicks out again! Leon sets up a suplex, but TK slips behind the back, and shoves Leon off into the ropes, but Leon catches him with a hurricanrana! TK slides outside again, slamming both hands on the apron and kicking the steel steps as the crowd is going CRAZY~! COLE Leon too quick for TK here in the early going, and TK EXTREMELY frustrated by it! TK takes another 8-count, then gets back in and charges Leon, who leapfrogs, drops down, and leapfrogs again...but TK catches him in mid-air this time! Leon, however, holds on, and pulls off a DDT! Leon then goes to the top, blowing a kiss to the crowd on the way up. Leon comes off for a hurricanrana, but TK catches him and plants him with a sitout powerbomb!!! COACH THERE we go! GREAT counter by TK! TK lays down for a few seconds, then covers! 1.. 2.. Leon kicks out! TK waits for Leon to get to his feet, then gives him a foot shot to the gut, and sets up a running powerslam. Leon slides over the back, and runs to the ropes, but TK drops down, then catches him and drops him throat-first on the ropes! TK then runs to the other side and DRILLS Leon with a bicycle kick! TK plays to the crowd, who toss boos his way in return. TK goes to the top, and flies across the ring with a big elbowdrop! COLE Beautifully executed elbow by Thunderkid! TK covers... 1.... 2....... Leon kicks out again! TK picks up Leon, and gives him a T-Bone suplex! He then lets Leon get to his feet, and scoops him up, turning to taunt each side of the audience, before sending Leon over with a fallaway slam! TK sits on the mat and wipes his brow arrogantly, then covers... 1.... 2.......... but Leon kicks out yet again!!! COLE Leon Rodez refusing to quit here! TK gives the referee shit, then picks up Leon and sets him up for a suplex...but Leon blocks! Leon blocks twice!! Leon reverses to his own suplex!!! COLE And NOW, maybe the tide will turn back in to Leon Rodez' favor! Both men struggle to get to their feet, then TK lands a right hand, and Leon lands one in return, to the cheers of the crowd! TK lands another, and Leon lands another! TK's third attempt is blocked, and Leon lands THREE of his own, before TK goes to the eyes and whips him HARD into the corner! COACH Way to go, TK! Way to keep the advantage! TK sets up Leon on the top rope, then follows him up. TK appears to be setting up a superplex, but Leon sends two fists to the gut, then pushes him back to the mat! Leon stands up on the top rope, and comes off, catching TK with a big chop! But Leon lands awkwardly on his right knee, and can't cover! COLE Leon with a HUGE move off the top rope, but it appears he's hurt his knee! COACH And that's the same knee he had surgery on a while back, Cole! This is not good news for Leon Rodez! The referee begins to count... 1! 2! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!!!! 7!!!!! 8!!!!!!!!!! Both men struggle to their feet, and TK takes down Leon with a chop block! COACH TK spots the injury, and now he's zooming in on it, Cole! COLE And you have to wonder how this could affect the tag team title match this Sunday... COACH Well, any little doubt I had that TK and Reject could take the titles on Sunday is out the window now, Cole! We're gonna have new champs in three days! TK picks up Rodez by the leg, and drops it on his own! He then grabs the other leg...and locks in a FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK!!! COLE And this could be the match right here! COACH And notice that he grabbed the OTHER leg and twisted it, which puts the pressure on the straight leg, which is injured! I hope Ric Flair is taking notes! Leon lays down on the mat, and the referee counts! 1.. 2.. Leon sits back up! COLE Whoa, Leon almost counted out there! Leon screams in pain, then lays back down again. 1.. 2.... Leon sits back up again, and this time uses his momentum, and starts to turn the hold over! COACH No way! COLE Leon looks to be reversing! What guts shown by Leon Rodez in this match! Leon finally turns it all the way over, and TK quickly squirms towards the ropes! TK grabs the ropes, and turns the hold BACK over, using the ropes for extra leverage and breaking JUST before the five-count! COACH Great prescence of mind there by TK, he had a hold of the ropes, and used them to his advantage rather than just using them to escape! TK grabs the leg of Rodez, and drops an elbow on it! He then backs him into the corner again, setting his leg outside of the rope, and pulling at the foot, releasing just before the five-count! He brings the leg back in, and sets him back up top. TK follows him up, and takes him off with a HURRICANRANA!!! 1..... 2.............. NO!!! Leon kicks out at the last split second!!! COLE And STILL, Leon won't quit! COACH This is not smart at all! If I were Leon, I'd throw in the towel here tonight and save what I got left for this Sunday, there's no title on the line here! TK delivers a snap suplex, then goes to the top again...SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! ...MISSES!!! COACH Leon got out of the way! The referee counts! 1! 2! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!!!! 7!!!!! 8!!!!!!!!!! 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both men beat the count up, and Leon blocks a right hand, and lands one of his own! Another try, another block, another punch! Leon starts landing knife-edge chops as the crowd starts to get behind him! TK goes to the eyes, then slides out and grabs Leon's leg, in an attempt to ram it into the post. But Leon is able to pull TK into the post with his legs! Leon then goes up to the top... COACH What the hell is the matter with this guy? Is he nuts? ...and comes off with a bodypress to the outside! The crowd EXPLODES~!!! Maybe even in their pants!!! Leon delivers right hands to TK, then rolls him in the ring. Leon goes to the top again, and comes off with a flying bodypress... 1..... 2.............. TK kicks out!!! TK swings with a clothesline at Leon, but Leon ducks...and starts nailing jabs! The crowd counts along, until he gets to five! He then blows a kiss, and his a backbrain kick! COLE Leon completes Mama Said Knock You Out! Cover... 1....... 2............... TK kicks out again! Leon gives TK a drop toe hold, landing him on the ropes! COLE Time for CALL THAT BITCH BOJANGLES~!!! Leon goes to the ropes, and jumps on TK! TK bounces back up, right into the LUNGBLOWER~!!! 1......... 2..................... 3!!!!!!! WAIT, Reject is at ringside, and has pulled the referee out! The referee argues with Reject, as Zack Malibu runs to ringside and starts hammering away on Reject! The referee gets back in the ring, and starts shouting at Zack and Reject on the floor. Leon shoves out of a headlock, sending TK into the referee, who lands right on top of Zack on the floor! Reject slides into the ring unsuspected, as Leon sets up STREET SMARTS~!!! Reject kicks Leon low, then they execute the CATEGORY SIX~!!!!!11111 Reject slides out and the referee slides in as TK covers. Zack hits SCHOOL'S OUT~!!!!!11111 on Reject on the floor, but Reject is able to hold Zack's foot as the count is made! 1............ 2............................... 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *DING DING DING* COLE DAMN IT! (10:03) BUFFER The winner of this bout...THUNDERKID!!!!! Zack chases TK out of the ring, and TK helps Reject up and they retreat to the locker room with their arms raised as God of Thunder plays over the speakers. Zack stares them down from the ring. COLE Could this be the sight that awaits us in just three days at Dirty Deeds from Fenway Park in Boston? COACH I've said it before and I'll say it again, we're going to have new tag team champions this Sunday, and there's no team more deserving than those two!
