OAO SmackDown thread for 10/07/05

Recommended Posts

I just have to wonder if these threads would get more people in them if the show was actually live.

But then again, how many people could you actually get for a live wrestling show on Friday?

...and seeing this new WWE opening will take some getting used to.

I love how heels never shake Michael Cole's hand. Also, Sylvan is awesome.

they don't call finishers by their finisher name anymore

The announcers on the B-shows do.

Awww.  Ain't it cute when couples dress alike?

SHH!

They might have Eddie and Batista kiss in the middle of the ring.

Oh hell Eddy just said he thought Batista was his "soul mate"? I might be more right than I thought.

Those things are scary as hell. And as curious as I am to look at them, I'm glad the camera shots aren't that long. Those shits look WAY too realistic.

^^ I hope you're right about that. It'd explain why they don't rest the camera on them for too long, at least.

Just go back and look how they showed Taker in there, and now these two. It's cheap b-movie camera tricks with pre-recorded footage of the real guys in there. That's why Taker or neither one of the Orton's have turned it over or anything like that. Go back and look at how they did it right now, and the only part they showed "real time" was the bottom of the feet.
