Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2005 I didn't care too much for Cabin Fever, but I would like to check out something else by Eli Roth. I'd be willing to give him another shot.

nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2005 Boston - Brattle Theatre <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically, Cambridge Mass ... and I'm so there this weekend. The Brattle's been bringing their a-game lately, I saw Izo there last week and was going to see Three Extremes on Sunday, but it would have meant missing the Pats game ... of course, seeing as the Pats got shelled, maybe I made the wrong choice. But I digress ... before Izo they played the trailer for The Roost ... damn, did that look good. I can't wait to see it.

RedJed 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2005 I'm actually looking forward to Feast quite a bit after following that Project Greenlight season on Bravo earlier in the year. Just surprised it's taking so long to get out to theatres, ideally I would imagine the film should have been released right after the Greenlight season ended, but I think something happened with the Miramax/Dimension-Disney split that forced a hold on it. But anyway the film, from the scenes shown in Greenlight, looks plenty gory and generally interesting. Heard good things about Hostel too, again - just wish we didnt have to wait til Jan!! Is Bloodrayne actually getting a really substantial national release?

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2005 In a surprising coolness, the local Drive In move theater here has a awesome double dip. 10:30: The Evil Dead midnight: Evil Dead 2 That's pretty sweet I say. I gotta find a way to get there tonight. Oh and in the "out of ideas" department Creepshow Rises From Dead Warner Brothers is developing a remake of Creepshow, the 1982 horror anthology movie written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment will produce, along with Taka Ichise of OZ LA and Tony Ludwig. James Dudelson, the original rights holder, also is attached to produce, the trade paper reported. Unlike the original film, in which the stories were unconnected, the plan is to structure the new movie a la Go, where individual stories will have interconnected characters and situations. The project is out to writers. The original is cooky, corny fun. I'm not sure about connecting all the stories cause doesn't that just really make it a remake of "Tales from the Crypt" instead?
