PTC's Best and Worst List

Recommended Posts

Does anyone on here actually use the V Chip?

I suspect, like with most modern technology, parents are always the last to figure out how to use it.

I know they exist, because apparently my PS2 has one on the DVD player, and I'm always accidentally turning it on.

Can CSI really be that bad when it educates people in science?

But its practically telling criminals what to do to avoid getting caught.

Shockingly, since its return in May, Family Guy is the highest ranked show among 12-17 year olds, and the fifth highest ranked show among children ages 2 to 11.

Whats more shocking is that they actually track what 2 year olds watch.

2 year olds shouldn't even be watching tv.

Oh, and I dont care what other people think, I like War at Home.

Oh, and I remember seing this about Extreme Makeover - Disabled Man with criminal past recieves $500,000 new log home What does that teach kids? You can be convicted of drunk driving twice, armed robbery, and its all ok because if you become disabled? And for what its worth, people convicted of crimes are supposed to be ineligible for the show. So they broke their own rules..

Where was the PTC when I was a kid and Benny Hill was on regular TV at 5:30 pm ... nothing more wholesome than watching old British men chasing young, lingerie-clad byrds as a 7-year-old while waiting for dinner to be ready.

Yet to show animated nudity at 9:30 on a Sunday night is 'stop the presses' bad.

I'm kind of surprised by the high marks for "Dancing with the Stars", given the number of times Kelly Monaco has inspired masturbation.

I mean, come on now.  Hello...?  :D

Another funny story is how an older couple took in five orphaned siblings, got a bigass house from EM:HE, then kicked the kids out not long after.

Here's the story
