24/7 Online November Line-up

Recommended Posts

The best match offered here is Sting Vs. Mike Rotunda. Go watch it. All of it. Except for a tiny slip/botch where Rotunda attempts a kick/dropkick, this match is AMAZING.

It feels like a WRESTLING CONTEST.

Add in cameos from Luger, Steamboat, Sullivan, Dr. Death, and Spivey.

This match is just amazing. The commentary from JR is great.

Just got done watching Backlund/Hart.

They panned to Julie Hart during the match and, wow, she was really gorgeous. It's amazing how fat and ugly she got in 3 years.

1) Where did they say Crush was from that he was a "Foreign Fanatic"? Basically, why was an American on an anti-American team?

Well, Crush turned heel following his WWF title match loss to Yokozuna on RAW a few weeks later and blamed Savage for not coming to his rescue (Crush got Bonzai Dropped like 4 times while Savage just sat there doing nothing). So yeah, Crush became a turncoat basically because of it.

2)I'm guessing the reason Crush was taken out of the match was the Legit or worked injury of Quebeccer Pierre?

Yeah, Crush replaced Pierre for whatever reason.

In the build-up to Survivor Series, Ludvig Borga faced Tatanka, who was undefeated at the time. Yokozuna came in when the ref was down, banzai dropped Tatanka twice, and Borga pinned him when the ref recovered with one pinky finger. It was announced that due to injuries Tatanka suffered from the drops, he would not be medically cleared to compete at Survivor Series. They announced The Undertaker as his replacement, complete with UT opening his coat with the American flag embroidered inside it.

The next week, Lex Luger faced Quebecer Pierre on RAW. In retaliation for what happened to Tatanka, Luger used his "loaded" forearm to knock out Pierre to win the match. It was announced on the Superstars before the PPV (which was on Wednesday) that Pierre would not be able to wrestle due to injuries from the forearm shot. He was replaced with Crush.

In about April or May 1993, Crush faced WWF Champion Yokozuna on RAW, and they had made a big deal about Randy Savage sort of mentoring Crush for the title match. Yokozuna wiped the floor with Crush and finished him off with the banzai drop. After the match, Crush banzai dropped him 3 more times while Savage just sat idlely at the announcer's table. When he returned a few months later, he did a deal where he called Savage into the ring. He confronted him about how he left him alone to be attacked and eventually started dropping hints that he had been conversing with Mr. Fuji, mentioning hat Mr. Fuji was from Hawaii like he was. Then Yokozuna, Fuji, and Jim Cornette came out and Savage bowed up, while Crush completed the heel turn by attacking Savage from behind and mauling him. He then became an associate of Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji.

I entered that code given at Taboo Tuesday and the entire library of footage is open...I'm in heaven. Shawn Michaels' sole collection of matches is enough to make a fan faint.

Anyone know any secrets as to how to record this footage or save it to your computer? Please let us know.

I posted in the General Forums 24/7 Thread but figured it deserved repeating here:

WWE 24/7 Online Freeloaders: Another password will be out next week for people who buy SvR 2006 from GameStop that is good until the end of 2005. I assume it will be the same deal as the Taboo Tuesday one where it will be one password that the whole world can use.
